Yeah, you're a real renaissance man.

My parents are from a different era. They've been that way since before I had any concept of how things were supposed to be, and they're definitely in equilibrium. Maybe it would be the righteous thing to do to enlighten them, but it's just not a feat I'm ready to undertake. It's enough work trying to fix all you guys.

Like the bourbon doesn't. Last Friday was something along the lines of Makers, Makers, Makers, Makers, Makers, wine, wine, Makers, Makers, wine, Makers, Bookers. Mmmm, booze on the firm nickel. I have very little recollection of the cab ride home.

Up at 7:00 the next morning. Kids are fun!

Google can help you with that. For example, this episode:

"Dave worries that the past will repeat itself when an arcade game, Stargate Defender, is installed in the hallway. Lisa and Dave take the SATs to prove they're not getting dumber. Bill is obsessed with the stale, plastic, leathery sandwiches from a vending machine."

is called "Arcade." The episode about Mr. James' book that gets translated into Japanese and then translated back to English and given the title "Super Karate Monkey Death Car," is called, not surprisingly, "Super Karate Monkey Death Car."

This one I'm having a hard time imagining. It does not sound pleasant.
having girl drink knowledge is suspious, but giving mental energy to questioning the relative value of proposed girl drinks is simply a fag endeavor.

BTW, how much does it suck [spoiler] to shave your head, and not have your husband have to do so, and then gain only a few minutes on the teams that didn't use the "fast" forward? Was it crafty editing, or did it take nearly as long for Uchenna and Joyce to find the temple as it did for people to push an elephant and drive a camel? And, worse, joyce got no price for the first place finish

Spoilers:

I'm amazed they're still in it. They've mostly just been lucky. There have been big equalizers, and no super-physical tasks lately that they couldn't get Indian children to help them with. I felt bad for the gay guys, but I guess you have to double- and triple-check that shit.

Rob and Amber deserve to win, because they've got the game theory down pat. I can't help but like them, even if they are sneaky motherfuckers.

Joyce's hair looked like she had YEARS of work into it. The braiding was thick and long. That fast forward sucked, but they didn't really have a choice about doing it once they got there, since it took them a while and they were pretty close to the end. I want to see how much they won buy; seems like going for it was a bad choice unless they have a decent lead.

I really dislike Kelly. Her quote about Ron giving up on his committment to the Army by becoming a POW is classic. And he's stupid for staying with her, but I guess he's just a dumb hayseed.

Why do I love this post? Why am I snickering as I read it? Can someone explain why this is so fucking funny?
Because the mere idea of anyone actually hitting on that haggard old bat is quite amusing.

I see your point. Bourbon can go down quickly and easily, but vodka is so fucking sneaky. Half a bottle just vanishes, and you don't even taste it - or feel it. Bourbon at least reminds you of its presence from time to time when you smell it moving to your lips.

Spoiler: Because of the editing, unless it's near dawn or dusk, you often can't tell how far ahead of the rest a team finishes until you see the beginning of the next episode and see departure times. The intervals are often very different than the way they're portrayed.

Eh, I dunno about a lot of the other girl stuff. I'd say that cleaning & laundry are not oursourced nearly as much as food is via restaurants, take out and prepared foods. Big-city living where large portions of the population hire maids because they work too many hours to run a vacuum and dust occasionally and their apartments aren't big enough for a washer & dryer are the exception.

Sewing I give you. Any woman who still does much of her own clothing repair or alteration (not to mention actually making clothing) is in a small minority. I know exactly 2, and I'm one of them, and I don't make anything, unless you count my cutting up a t-shirt to remove a stain and trying to salvage it as some sort of "deconstructed" top (with absolutely 0 success).

The lesbian butcher thing, its just such an untapped vein for a Seinfeld that should have been or a Curb Your Enthusiasm that's yet to be.

Is that stuff any good? Thanks to sebby, I've been drinking Knob Creek or Maker's Mark in places that don't have Bushmills or Jamesons.
I've mostly given it as gifts, so I'm not really sure--not much for the bourbon myself. Seemed to be appreciated, but that might just be the horse. Although the horse might be necessary to justify the premium price.

And thank you for the welcome.

It also reminds you of its presence when it moves back over your lips on a path to the bar's floor. When it goes down wrong, ain't nothing quick or easy about it.

I think that you're making it out to be a lot more complicated than it actually is.
