LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Lakers coach Rudy Tomjanovich, in his first year with the team, will resign after the team's game Tuesday night for unspecified reasons, ESPN reported.
Unspecified, but obvious reasons. With a sprained ankle.

If you're going to quit, why would you do it after the next game? Isn't that like having "just one more" (Rudy T. should know)? Or breakup sex?

Yeah. It makes no sense. He missed Sunday's game with the flu. No telling why he wouldn't just say "hey. I quit. Fuck off. Today. Right now." Why wait until after the game?

Your question contains the answer. He wants a big farewell game, where everyone treats him right because they know it's their last chance. Break-up sex rocks.

If that's what he's looking for, he's smoking the crack. Why would they start treating him right, now? They've had all season.
And if anyone thought he'd make it through the year, they're also smoking the crack.

He was a coach in name only anyway wasn't he? My sources say Kobe "can't spell team without me" is the puppetmaster.

I don't like how this thread has evolved. Maybe it will improve if I post my rankings of your respective performances.

Good poll, PrettyFlower. I vote myself, ha ha ha. Is that legal?
Given my newness to posting on this forum I feel compelled to say, thanks to all. I am truly enjoying the multi-houred diversion the postings here provide and am shocked and amazed at the wealth of knowledge I am gaining from logging in here.
I am still flailing with some of the lingo and operating the lawtalkers IM module (PM), but I think it always takes time for the Newbees to clue in.
For those interested, my fandom for Nancy Grace continues unabated (she is just a deadly combo of brains and cutes  ) and Rue M is but a memory (except for my daily TIVO of the Golden Girls). No Nancy G dreams yet.

Big black clips
Are these the most useless things ein the world> I sent two big ass documents to the paper people some hours ago asking for them to be bound so that they will be as unflimsy as possible. I get them back loose but with a big black clip. Like I coudlnt have done that myself?
I miss gigantic power staplers.

Str8, can you get tickets off the Coldplay fan club website?
