So, anyway, I was thinking that this might be a case where the ignore feature could be put to good use. Thereby avoiding the need for posts alleging pedophilia and/or suggesting other posters should end their worthless lives. Just a thought.
|
I have to admit, I overrode the ignore feature after I saw the "my baby girl is purity and must be protected" crap.
Which makes me a bad person, maybe, but I'm not sure the death penalty is called for. I will ponder that when alone tonight in the dark and the inherent uselessness and futility of life starts looming, though.

Okay, I don't get it. It's wrong to lust after other people's daughters while wishing that people didn't lust after yours? Let's take this out of the not-quite-barely-legal realm.
Everyone knows their wives, girlfriends and daughters get lusted after. No one likes it. Everyone wishes that were not true. But it is a fact of life. Are you suggesting that he is somehow more hypocritical than every other human being out there?

You have to excuse my random post. I am in an off mood today (time for a refill -- I wonder if I'll get the suicide-risk warning). My SO has more than a little IM clothing and I have always reacted violently to T.I.M.

On a theory level, and not just partly jabbing at wanker? If you insist that your child and wife and girlfriend wear only highly non-sexy clothes while you feel no compunction about saying va-va-voom and drop things to get women in short skirts/loose-necked shirts to bend over and pick them up, yeah, you are more hypocritical than if you let them dress how they like, accept that others may find them sexually interesting, and take it as a compliment.
Obviously the younger the daughter the more control you have over dressing. I'm not sure if the wank-spawn is past puberty yet.

If you get in the right neighborhood (i.e. where all the people who work at Sandia live), the houses are nice, if suburban, and your neighbors' kids will be really smart. OTOH, Albuquerque doesn't really have the tourest attrations the rest of northern NM has, and really isn't a place with great hotels or nice restaurants (although the places I've eaten there have been very good, in a local kind of way). Albuquerque may be one of thoses place that reverses the aphorism: a nice place to live, but I wouldn't want to visit there.
Pueblo has... well, um... Pueblo has the US Goverment Printing Office.

Because I feel like sounding like a big dork . . .
I played a disc golf course in Roosevelt Park in Albequerque once, and came closest to a hole-in-one that I've ever come. Hit the basket about 4/5 of the way up, dead center, with my understable Cobra, hole was 230 feet, steep downhill. Was playing in a tournament, lots of witnesses. Bummer.
Followed it up with a lovely dinner at some place with a name like Sandria's. Fairly famous Mexican joint.

Oh, my, god. I've actually heard of this store. Not that it was "most excellent"*, but I've heard of it. I will have to check it out should I find myself in Toronto.
BR(*because what I've heard of it was in the context of "137 reasons fat women like my bitch of an ex-girlfriend should leave the black spandex to chicks with toned asses, particularly if they are going to get PMS and suddenly realize that they in fact look like shit because they are fat and everything they own is black spandex, and so they shriek at their poor tormented boyfriend for 5 days every month about he doesn't understand her suffering as a woman and it's all his fault that her wardrobe looks like shit because he's part of the dominant male culture bent on subjugating women" - come to think of it, I'd better have a stiff drink before I check out this store)C
