Thank you, Not Bob, for once again bringing the calm yet mildy disapproving voice of sanity that this board needs so badly. You are the proverbial Reasonable Man. But I suggest to you that the real shame lies not in the fact that the board has "degenerated" to Flower-bashing, but in the fact that the Flower-bashing is actually a dramatic elevation of the level of discourse. I mean, do we really need to hear again how i was penske took Hank's wife up the ass while she simultaneously provided him with a particularly probing and slobbery rim job?

As usual I stand by Flower.
This board was built on 3 themes- Flower is girlish/gay, Hank is drunk and Thurgreed disapproves of something someone posted. oh, 4- fringey likes to eat fatty foods.
when we stuck to those we had a huge crop of long time lurkers to fill in the newber ranks. Now we don't have them.
if we get back to basics, and add in the inside jokes like flower and i engaged a few posts back (they make the lurkers WANT to belong) then we will have the lurkers jumping that first post line in no time.

I'm not sure that's possible, but if it is, I'd bet that MR would take special pleasure in providing us all with an explanatory stick-figure drawing.

I got a pair of pink, flat front, Michael Kors pants from Bluefly in the mail earlier this week. Depending on what I wear them with, I can be that mod hipster with the martini and the soul patch at the ambient down beat Bhangra-electronica DJ show, or the token gay guy from the exclusive country club in the western suburbs who cannot really golf but who is always a colorful and welcome addition to the foursome. They're perfect!
