One twist from British cuisine, a British pigs in blanket, if you will, are chipolata sausages wrapped in bacon, wrapped in the crescent dough and baked. Served with a nice british real ale, draught style, of your choosing.

I like to wrap crescent roll dough around a small wheel or wedge of brie and bake it. Yum yum.
But pigs in a blanket are good too.
Don't remember what you used to bake in crescent dough. Maybe these recipes will help you remember: http://www.pillsbury.com/Recipes/Mai...ient/Crescents

If you can't remember, how do you know it wasn't that?
Maybe some cucumber with a little gruyere?
Some kielbasa with onion?
Chorizo with olive tapenade?
Pepperoni with mustard?

Serve with the milk of Paradise?
Seriously, slice it in some decorative way and serve super-cold. Melon cannot be improved by the addition of ingredients, so go with a wowsa presentation. Or just serve wedges on small plates with small ball of a lemon granita with a sprig of mint in each.

There are lemons and there is raspberry sorbet. There is no fresh mint.

Slice it in wedges and serve. There is no need to improve honeydew.
