The last couple of anti-war protests had more of a WASPish vibe than a dirty hippy vibe. I picture the protest ending up at the Hyatt in the cocktail lounge.

I agree that he should have listened more to her because she was, essentially, his client. However, he needs to make sure he is submitting a design that will keep him there. If she wants him to create something where her stomach is exposed, should he do it? That said, he wasn't very convincing when he argued that she might want to highlight things that other people find attractive in her.
Also, she's not exactly like a client because Angela hated him already and her mom knew this and could very well have been sabotaging his attempts. Even if she wasn't, there's a conflict of interest there that isn't there with a real client.
Bottom line: His dress, his place in the contest, his responsibility = his decision. He needs to be comfortable with what he's submitting.

Clearly the producers kept him in the game for so long because he's a nutcase (hi!), but I happended to see that couture episode again yesterday and the whole line about him studying couture and then him throwing out that glued together piece of crap anti-couture dress... I liked it when Laura said he was delusional last night. Question for TM: are all his nutty statements to the press his real opinions or is he just trying to milk the 15 minutes?
|
I think a little of both. The producers always pick someone who they can't control, says shit that makes no sense and who believes that they are God's gift (hi ppnyc!). Those people are entertaining. And they have to understand that in a subjective contest like this that the contestants are going to be pissed as hell when they aren't crowned King of All Fashion.
That said, he probably loves the attention, has never gotten it before and wants to keep it going. His explanation about his comments labeling the other contestants as "amateurs" was just ridiculous.

Are you sure they were talking about you? I thought you were Korean.

Of course it was. But I want Michael to win, therefore she is a total bitch.

By "businessmen", you mean "dealers", right? And by "Is she Chinese", you mean "yo, Asian chick"? And by "she's gorgeous", you mean, "ya wanna do me here"?, right? Because I thought that was the kind of conversation "businessmen" had about you.

Although she has posted about it here, you clearly don't know the nature of the surgery she had done or the reason behind it. A good lesson to learn, and you are learning it very cheaply here on a semi-anonymous chatting board for lawyers, is never, EVER speak in a judgmental way about ANYTHING relating to someone's medical condition or procedures. You will end up looking very foolish.

I actually saw it differently. I figured they were, in fact, businessmen, but that she heard them wrong. It was really "Is she Chinese? She gorges."

Maybe in from out of town, and looking for a dim sum recommendation?

That would be so gay. Hypothetically speaking.
