I'd have won the fucking car if this were The Price is Right.
There are many real exotics under $200k (Bentley Continental, the new small Astin Martin, a few year old Ferrari).
The 911 is to middle aged men what the BMW 330 is to kids who get their first bonus check. "Look at me!" They're nice rides, don't get me wrong. And they perform magnificently and run forever. And if you buy a standard 911 just to have a fun convertible, I guess thats sensible. But all these old men I see driving their turbos around the Philly burbs crack me up. I mean, really, why? Other than compensating for lack of something else, of course...

Autoist Fuck.
Let me ask the people who are bashing Porsche one question: have you ever driven one?
I had a buddy who let me drive his Turbo and it was fucking amazing. Probably not as nice as the M5 I test drove (just for fun), but that's only b/c the M5 seats 4 comfortably.
Rather than generalizing and saying everyone who drives a Porche is overcompensating, perhaps you can give them the benefit of the doubt and think "there's a person who likes to drive fast cars"? Nothing wrong with liking fast cars. Sounds like sour grapes to me the other way.
Would I buy a Porsche? No way. But not b/c of the stigma. It's because I can't afford one. Though, even if I could afford it, I guess I'd go for something more practical. But I will never begrudge someone for their choice of auto. Different strokes and all that.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

If you live somewhere where you can drive a Turbo the way it should be driven, I have no gripe. But these old men I see parking the things in front of restaurants in my area don't drive them anywhere but into parking garages at their offices. You think you can wind out a Turbo on the Schuylkill Expressway? The most comical thing ever is the 911s parked in the train lots. People buy 911s to drive them to the train. Or the guys who drive them in winter because they can't afford a second car because they blew all their money on the Porsche.
A Porsche is a wonderful car. If you live in California or someplace where you can actually drive it. Otherwise, its like having a malamut or great dane in a City apartment. Just doesn't make sense.
I LOVE the M5 and the E 55. Those are neat rides. Nobody knows you have a beast under the hood, and the damn things are comfortable and practical. I parked next to a gorgeous 2002 deep blue M5 this morning. So perfectly understated.

You know everyone dogs the thin-dicked....UNTIL time to experiment with double anal comes up. Then you all wish you'd kept the number.

Is there such thing as thindickedness? I always assumed they were all the same width, and the only difference was length. Is it posssible to have a very long thin dick? And is that preferable to a short, regular width penis?

What part of California are you talking about? Just curious. . .
Where did you see the M5 parked, the train lot?

I slept with a guy (once, that was enough) in law school how had a long very thin dick. It freaked me out once I saw it and even more once I was fucking him...but I had to finish out of courtesy

I imagine the thindicked would be perfectly suited for anal sex. That could be the thindicked man's rap. "Just right for that tighter back door."

Big Sur.
After all, if you can't drive it on PCH with the ocean to your right, the wind in your hair and some chick in the passenger seat, what's the point in having the fucking car in the first place?

Once a rant starts brewing, you can't stop in the middle to check out autotrader.com. Rants don't involve research.*
*unless you're Dennis Miller
Speaking of Dennis, how many comedians hit their peak with 'Weekend Update"? Chevy, Dennis Miller, Norm MacDonald, Jimmy Fallon (if you can say that was a peak), Kevin Nealon...
Is it possible that I recall Kevin Nealon actually being pretty funny? Mr. Subliminal and Mr. No Depth Perception?

I don't read the PB with any great regularity anymore, but man, is that a great board motto.
And he's not my Dennis Miller!*
*(Since dtb doesn't seem to be around.)
