I think I might have imagined the Harvard thing. I could have sworn I read he was admitted there when I first heard about the case, but I can't find any reference to it on the internet. And the Wiki says he had a 3.4 GPA AND that he was arrested the day he took his SATs, so his admission to anywhere probably wasn't a done deal yet. It could just be he was getting ready to go to college when all of this went down and his lawyers made him apply to Harvard to make his story look better to the media, legislature and courts.

Blocking Email Access
If someone blocks your email account, would you know? Does it send an auto-reply of "your email account has been blocked" or something like that?

No -- why?
The situation, in an ncs-approved* nutshell, is a person I consider(ed) my friend has not returned phone calls or emails for some time now. She is the kind of person who would block email, but I would be shocked if she blocked mine.

Nope. Unless they've set up an elaborate rule in Outlook that automatically spits out a reply whenever an e-mail is received from that address.
"Dear Annoying Person,
Fuck Off.
Cheers,
E-mail Blocker"

You changed you sig line. I wondered.
I don't know anything about blocking emails, but I would imagine it would be transparent to the blocked party.
