Definitely agree there. Need I remind people of my infamous "curry balls" post? EVERY guy I've been with since I first noticed the scent on my ex-BF's balls years ago has the same exact smell. It's not exactly unpleasant, but it's not the sweetest thing either. Is it sweat? Or do the balls simply exude their own special scent? Or maybe it's a white guy thing. I never noticed this smell on my Korean BF of 5 years. (This might be consistent with the fact that most Asian people don't have B.O., but who knows?). I wish I could describe it better, other than a mild curry odor.

Now that I think about it, this may have been the case in the example I cited - no idea about the guy's later life. I haven't seen him since the day after graduation. The other explanantion (ballooning) didn't really apply there, but I have seen that happen before as well. I guess I was discounting those situations, because I know how that happened.

But if women date down (looks wise) and men don't, isn't there an imbalance? Or are more women (at least of normal mate-hunting age) hot then men, bringing back balance?
