I'm concerned

Actually more seriously, per my quote, Hillary said if what later became known as true was true than we should be concerned. I was, at that time, but it never really seemed like they, the Clintons, and their apologists in the liberal media, acknowledged the validity of that concern when the truth came to bear. Why in the hypothetical was it a matter of concern, but in reality its something to be sloughed off with the tag lines "nothing to see here more along" "just sex" blah blah blah.

Either, from a "we the people" perspective, it was something to be concerned about or it wasn't. The world's self-proclaimed smartest woman and co-president said it was a matter of concern. And yet Clinton writes in his book that it was, at least in part, a product of Starr's vendetta and the impeachment was unwarranted. When are we going to get a sincere apology for his urination on our the constitutional office of the Presidency? When ty, when?

Of course if W did something like this there wouldn't be any concern.
Translation: In all seriousness, I can't leave the Clintons alone because the Hillary voices in my head tell me not to.

The uber-left is fawning all over his dreck, as expected.

I bet they just forgot about that damn McCain-Feingold Act.

Have you seen anyone defending him here? I mean, I admitted to liking Roger & Me, but that's probably just my fascination with Michigan. The guy's a crackpot. I wouldn't call on you to answer for everything that Liddy says, although I'd be interested to see if you followed his advice when the jackbooted thugs kick in your door under the guise of the Patriot Act.

They were only jackbooted thugs when Reno/Gorelick ran the DoJ. Under Ashcroft, they are the Warriors Against Terrosim.

I liked Nixon. Liddy? Tony S. has Paulie, you need to get some jobs done.

I know most of you won't defend Moore, a few (and i won't list because that's obsession) do though. The piece helps keep moore's motives in perspective.

Remember, it wasn't that long ago Atticus was arguing 9/11 was just a petty crime.

P.S. I'm begining to think that AG is right, Club MUST be the pussinest puss that ever pussed a puss! (Or whatever he said.) Otherwise, Club would have punched him out instead of saying "I could say something, but I won't." Puss.

P.P.S. The Federal Marriage Amendment thing hurts, doesn't it guys? Reagan did sell the GOP to the social conservatives, but it was the price of power. C'est la vie. And, as Clinton said -- as played by John Travolta in "Primary Colors" (?) [Good Movie, BTW -- I laughed, I cried] -- "First you've got to GET elected."

So, when you come right down to it, any differences between Bush II, Clinton and Reagan are just around the edges. [Club will punch me out for that!]

I totally understand and the old me would have thought me the biggest pussiest puss puss too. But I have found innner peace my friend. I have found inner peace. Besides, I think its funny to see an obviously overeducated, white-boy talk tough on an anonymous chat board.

Did you get laid? In any event, you should change your "very, VERY petty" line to "Found Inner Peace" or something similar.

Court Won't Order Cheney Papers Released

By GINA HOLLAND, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court refused Thursday to order the Bush administration to make public secret details of Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites)'s energy task force, but kept the case alive by sending it back to a lower court.

Justices said 7-2 that a lower court should consider whether a federal open government law could be used to get documents of the task force.

The decision extends the legal fight over the information. Justices could have allowed a judge to immediately move ahead with ordering the release of the papers.

Right -- because there is absolutely no difference between consensual sex and rape.

Incidentally, I don't remember Monica making accusations and being a poster-child for the right wing. I remember Linda Tripp relaying private (and illegally taped) conversations, but not Monica trying to score political points.

eta: While we're on the subject, could you give me the official right-wing neocon explanation for why the most expensive prosecution in history did not bring up any rape charges, if Juanita B's story is so obviously true? Was Starr bought off by the North Koreans during the takeover?

I just finished reading the piece about Arnold in the New Yorker (pause for snickering). What's particularly frightening are the number of people who are apparently willing to believe that something is good for them because a movie star tells them so (even when it's the same deficit spending policy Davis was forced into, or workers voting for cuts in their workers compensation benefits).

Ahhnold has the potential to go all the way, once the Republicans fix the Constitution. And once it's been fixed once for Arnold, why not get rid of that two term limit. I know, I know - lighten up, right?

What's really strange about all this is that Sylvester Stallone predicted it in Demolition Man.
