Generally Feb-u-ary, but sometimes Feb-roo-ary around uptight asshole family/acquaintences just to avoid the inevitable bs argument.

Yeah.
The one that usually sneaks by (other than poinsettia) is jewelry.
For some reason it sets me on edge when people say joo-ler-y instead of joo-el-ry. I think 1 is actually the Canadian version because they spell it differently up there (I think).

I avoid the whole issue by going by the French Revolutionary Calendar.

It's jool-ree. Jesus. But I guess it can be joo-el-ry in a pinch. You are right that it's definitely not joo-ler-y.

Flower, it is rude not to elucidate your solution.

Are you happier now that we are talking about how to pronounce jewelry and February? Cause I think this pretty much sucks.

Also, the phrase is, "for shits and grins." She would actually say to customers, "well, just for chagrins, let's add up the figures." I told her that, chagrins is not what she thinks it means and the phrase is "for shits and grins." The answer, of course, was "whatever."
I always thought the expression was "for shits and giggles" making both of you wrong.

Oh sure. Give me the dirty work. And you didn't even bribe me with a cupcake. What kind of friend are you?

eta: this really sucks as my 1300th post. Especially because 13 is my lucky number. But not as much as Fringey's 6000th post.

I do not like baklava. You may have it all.

Yesterday, I had some very good cherry pie. I love pie.

I am not such a fan of cherry pie, though I like pie. So you may have the cherry pie. Unless I am hungry and there is no other food available.

I don't get Flower's October Nervosa thingy. Help me.
