I wore closed-toe shoes today for the first time in ten months or so (it is misty and cool* here this week). Damn they are hot, uncomfortable and restrictive. How do you womenfolk in cold climes do this for such a healthy portion of the year? You should receive combat pay or something for dealing with this discomfort.
*mid-60's.
