The opposite.

I assume we are talking about Slave and Paigow. If that's true I am comfortable with my relationships with both Slave and Paigow and the intersection of the same, and any feelings that either have about those relationships and/or antics, if any, are for those people to share with me. Not to be a jerk, seriously, but given the open animus between you and Paigow and the history of my relationship with Slave I find it hard to believe that you are standing up for either of them or that they would want or need you to.
|
You are really missing my point. I'm not talking about taking sides with or standing up for either of them. I am talking about stirring the shit relating to their animus. Even when you post "TOS violation" as a joke it's a rehashing of something that wasn't particularly pleasant for the participants or entertaining for the onlookers.
My point being, I am not talking about her, or about them, and I don't intend to criticize them indirectly/behind their backs -- I am talking about you, and I'm trying to understand why you do what you do sometimes.

Rather, it was your (admittedly only through a stretch of my own) ambiguous use of the word.

Cork is a slang term for Tampax, or at least among my high school friends. So I found your signoff amusing, and thought perhaps the effect was intentional.

Is he trying to be Prince Charles to your Camilla?
Ew. On many, many levels.

You can't use "eh" like that. It's got to be used in a crisp, short statement, like "So you're a fucking sock, eh?" There's also no "..." before it. It's supposed to follow in a nearly seamless fashion, with barely the hint of a pause.

What are the slang terms derived from "County Mayo"?

You didn't really have to take it to that one.
Speaking of which, I saw a recent photo of Prince Harry today. He really looks less like his parents than ever before (meaning his mother and his purported father). The picture brought to mind a pp [sniff] post of a few years ago, something along the lines of "he is the image of the riding instructor who sired him," but much sharper. I can't remember the exact words.

I don't know, but I think they are closely related to those derived from "County Sligo."

Oh, but I did.
It is my understanding from trashy Regency-period romances that the honorable thing is to make sure that the heir and the spare are both fathered by the husband, but that the paternity of any children born thereafter is up for grabs.

Speaking of Ireland, I have not yet been but am planning a visit in June. The men will be playing a lot of golf so the women will have lots of time to do more interesting things (and by more interesting, I don't mean shopping). I'm only just starting to plan, so if anyone has any recommendations, please PM. (Kid-friendly recs are welcome but not my main focus, as we will have at least one very eager sitter. )

I think there is a range here, some of which you are overpersonalising. Did I engage in shit stirring that was beyond the boundaries of good clean juvenile interwebs antics. Possibly, probably, yes. Is all of it condemnable, probably no. So qualified mea culpa, wtm.
That said, in part, your wonderment at my motives probably mirrors my wonderment at you (and others) motives for continually pick at ppnyc (or other targets of the past). Why keep stirring that shit? You have made it clear you don't like her. Scroll past her and let it go.

The shopping is supposed to be fantastic. Lots of cute little boutiques. There also may be some cooking classes or knitting classes or something. You should check into that online.

Is the Guinness tour still located in Ireland or did it move to Epcot center?

You don't seriously consider picking on someone for what she posts "shit stirring," do you? That's just picking. And it may be as tiresome as all the other tiresome stuff we do here, but it's part of the deal and although ppnyc may feel differently, if she is in fact real, it's not all that mean by our standards.
