Uh, sweet tea is more of a southeastern thing (GA, SC, AL, MS, AR) than a Texas thing, at least in my experience. I mean, Chik-Fil-A always has it, but that's a GA place. I'm sure that there are many places that serve sweet tea in TX, but it's not ubiquitous like in SE and you don't get the "sweet or unsweet" question so much. |

What the hell is wrong with just sugar? Does anyone actually enjoy anything sweet made without it, or is it just a case of virtuousness trumping honest taste buds? No amount of calorie savings is worth the heinous taste and mouthfeel of any substitute ever produced.
Though to be fair, I haven't tried the stuff from elves.
