Ok. I didn't really say all those words. Pederasty always tripped me up. And I might have called it karma sutra.
Oh, yeah, and I had no idea what any of it meant. I did like saying "I got my tits" during Hair also.

Perhaps if you had the right musical accompaniment, you could put out a remake for us to hear and dance to. Streaming video would be nice too.

You are easily amused. You'd watch a dog take a shit if it was on streaming video, wouldn't you?

I think I might be gay.

I agree that it's a solid record, but it's only just decent when compared to YHF, which was a spectacular album. "Being There" and the Billy Bragg collaboration are also very, very good.
|
I can't believe I was at lunch during the Wilco debate. Sniff.
YHF uber alles, of course, but you can't go wrong with anything, including AGIB. No love here for Summerteeth?

I like Summerteeth a lot. Haven't listned to AGIB enough, but was disappointed on first listen.
And to repeat myself, go buy Tommy Stinson's Village Gorilla Head. I'm really liking that album. And if you're in SoCal (Str8, I'm talkin' at you) go see Tommy this weekend in LB. You won't regret it. Unless Tommy gets way to drunk and stumbles through everything, which is always a possibility. But you should go.

“Urban chic” meets “stellar”, “succulent sushi” (“does it get any fresher?”) and “a new take on traditional Japanese” cooking at this “hip” Market District “hangout” with a “Blade Runner–esque” vibe and “a little attitude thrown in”; still, detractors decry the “too-small” “bar area” where folks “wait for tables” before being “squeezed in like sardines”, and the “techno” ambiance is “too loud” for some.

Where did the avatar come from? That would be a great logo for my "ex"-band.

I always [and still] prefer the Jay Farrar/Son Volt material after the Tupelo split.
"Being There" is solid and I love the Billy Bragg discs. I just don't get all the hype over "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot"

The first Son Volt album is pretty damn close to perfect, but I don't think Jay has really nailed it since then. Looking forward to seeing what the new Son Volt does.

It's better than going around the house singing "Colored Spade". I was in second grade and thought it was a cool song with nonsense words in it.

Something about whether the DC board had to be all on topic all the time. I believe burger might have invented 2. or was it SAM?
