You're pissed off because you created your own situation here. You told a bunch of people shit you shouldn't have. And now they're joking about it. But had you (i) not done what the underlying jokes are about and (ii) not shared that with anyone who would half-listen, you would not be in this situation, would you?

And if you really thought any of it was going to cause any major problems for you, you would leave, wouldn't you? But you won't, so clearly you don't think it's a problem. Or maybe you know it is, but you want to have someone else to blame for the shit you've done. And that's not quite how it works. Well, at least for the non-delusional, that's not how it works.

I take full responsiblity for running my mouth and then having that information that was told in confidence distorted and then thrown back in my face. I've learned from that lesson and don't trust certain individuals on the board as a consequence. Therefore, you are right certain aspects of this situation are self created.

That being said I am continually threatened when I even reference anything personal about any poster in retaliation while you and BNB are allowed carte blance to disclose personal info that was told off board.

Whatever. As pathetic as it may be for a secretary to OCD post on a chat board it is even more so for a "big time NYC senior associate" to do so. Good luck with that.

As for the major problem as nutty as I can be if I thought what correction, bnb said had any merit or truth wouldn't I run and hide???!!!! I mean really. what she said was a joke and a lie.

The angels? Maybe, but not to the same degree. The Giants? They got what they needed from Barry and are going cheap. Good luck.*

* Of course, in two weeks I'll probably be stuck arguing for why the Red Sox' signing of him for some recockulous amount is the greatest decision evah.
It makes no sense that Boras wouldn't even look at the Yankees' offer unless ARod so thoroughly wanted out of NY, that it didn't matter how much we'd offer him. Or maybe he didn't want the Yankees setting the market when he thinks the sky's the limit? Seems strange.

For the record, I didn't disclose anything.

I asked a question.

Your reaction to it disclosed more than anything else I could have said.

I realize I have no idea what's going on around here, but if we are voting someone off the island, I'm supporting the "vote patentpara" off the island camp. She's got bad taste in shoes.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

You asked a question, based off of information you didn't even rec. first hand from me that you received through someone else.

As did TM regarding the secretary thing. He found out that info from another person who obviously found that out off board on their own because I only told 2 people both of whom I trust implicitly.

You, who freaks out if anyone mentions anything about you personally....did that. You are a very petty and vindictive person.

Distorted? I don't think so. But it's easy for you to keep crying about how distorted the jokes are because you can depend on the fact that no one will out-and-out post about the shit you used to do.

Did you really write that last sentence without understanding it? Wait. Don't answer. I know this one already.

If you don't talk about other people's personal shit, you won't leave yourself open for your personal shit to be discussed. You see how that works? The fact that your personal shit is so much worse than anyone else's on this board is not really a defense.

1. I don't post everything that pops into my head.

2. Posting in and of itself is not pathetic. It's the substance of your posts that makes you pathetic. It is also the obvious fact that you want to be respected so much by lawyers, bankers and other people you have defined as important, that you try to spend as much time as possible with, that makes you so sad and pathetic. Why else would you spend time on a board where no one respects you or even likes you?

Someone volunteered the information to me. And I didn't post it. They did. I highlighted it because it is hilarious that you actively tried to keep people thinking you were a paralegal when you aren't because you clearly think we wouldn't respect a snyc as much. And the fact that it doesn't matter what you are when it comes to how little respect you get will never penetrate your head.

Yes, I enjoy working with attorneys, Big Time Partners and Bankers. Yes, I want to be respected by them and I spend a vast majority of my time making myself indispensible to the attys at my firm and for the client. I aspire to be a Power Secretary and try to get staffed on the Big Deals and Cutting Edge Deals and am successful at same. I like to crank the OT and assist with the big meetings and closings.

If you think that is pathetic, that's fine, so be it. If you find the substance of my posts to be lacking or the amount to be laborious, that's fine as well. I'm working on that.

You keep on asserting that no one likes me, but that is not true. People are unwilling to defend me publicly large scale but I have made friends from this board.

You know, no one else would have to know about the information I didn't receive first hand if you didn't rise to the bait. Every. Single. Time.

And I don't freak out if anyone mentions anything about me personally. Hell, almost everyone here knows me personally. I objected when you made assumptions about me that were at best, incorrect. I also objected when you called me a bad mother, simply because I am divorced. But none of those things have anything to do with me personally, because they weren't based in fact.

You don't know anything about me personally. Well, nothing that no one else here doesn't know.

I'm not petty and vindictive, but I am easily amused.

FWIW, I cared much more about it this year than most recent years because I was able to watch most of my team's games.

RT, someone seems to have ppnyc's log-in. It can't be her, because she said she was leaving.

You're missing the issue. You're culpable because you should have known how the question would be answered an anticipated the subsequent disclosure.
