Does Chase have some sort of phobia about resolving story lines?

It's called being a no-talent hack that got lucky with one new aspect added to a beat-up old story line.

Chase stopped writing shows years ago. He realized the public would mentally masturbate anything he wrote into all sorts of deeper messages, so he gave them one pile after another of vignettes barely tethered together. The amusing thing was watching all the stupid critics hail him for being so non-formulaic and "real" because he didn't bother tying any ends.
Like a fiddle. Chase is giggling somewhere, rubbing himself with $100 bills.

The kill was a little over the top. They guy puking?
I suppose you could try to read in the ending to the story lines, with Chase assuming that you can see what lies at the end of the road. Tony will probably be indicted any day now. Much of the New Jersey family will probably end up with him, and in any event is now so weak that Paulie is considered management material. They're living on borrowed time - truce or no truce, it's only a matter of time before they get swallowed or destroyed by one of the New York families.
Tony's immediate family is doomed also. Janice has turned completely into her mother, and will spend the next several decades fucking up the lives of Bobby's kids. Carmela has had her chances to leave, and chose instead her delusions of spec houses and remodeled kitchens. The kids are fucked, because they're not going to escape the attractions of material possessions and easy living - Meadow in particular is drifting towards a fate far worse than death.
You could argue that we know that these characters are damned, because we've seen their flaws at length. We don't actually need to see them go to hell.
Or, instead, you could conclude that Chase's ending was still the coward's way out.

Nastassja Kinski spent some days in a German prison when a sin of youth caught up with her. She had used public transportation several times without paying, did not pay the fines, did not work in a hospital as she was sentenced to do by a juvenile court... In 1978 she was finally arrested. She spent 5 days in prison despite being already a celebrity at that time. After 5 days she was released early because of good conduct.

White, huh? A subtle nod to that being the product of considerable mental masturbation?

Don't sully that good woman's name. My earliest fond memories of TCBing are to the nude scenes she did in "Cat People."
Perky, perky breasts on that woman.

No, that was a nod to the anticipated "SPOILER, MOTHERFUCKER!" replies.
The nod to the considerable mental masturbation would've required some sort of prelude stating that I totally got this from a friend who met Chase's brother's son-in-law at a Tastee Freeze 8 months ago, who gave me the scoop!

I notice you flip off a completely unecessary reference to ice cream, which at a soft serve facility like Tastee Freeze comes in chocolate or Vanilla. Another nod to white emissions. So subtle. So subtle.

Think all the little guys jerking off to Paris as your acolytes.
ETA Judging by your last 3-4 posts, you really need to . . . something.

I wouldn't jack off to that praying mantis if she were the last woman on Earth. She looks like one of the aliens from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Her nose is too long, her face is oddly shaped and he eyes are too close together. I could kill that judge for prolonging her career by giving her something to talk about.

Salty mood. The second bottle of champagne last night was a terrible idea. Drinking that stuff on an empty stomach will wreck the next day. Worst hangover in months.
It's back to vodka for me.
