ABBA, still drunk, calls me from the Fort Lauderdale airport. I pick her up and we go judge the Mr. Cockring 2006 contest at Jackhammerbar. And then we get tattoos.
Now, I have to go pick up the Brazenette at the temple pre-school.

Then why is surgery scheduled 6, 9, and noon? If the space is rare, some docs should be working the afternoon shift.
But only because they're used to being up early. If I wanted to, I could start going to bed much earlier, and waking up much earlier, and do my job just as well (or poorly). But I don't, because I'm not a sucker, and learned that at least in the law, if you're gone at 6pm, it doesn't matter whether you've billed 7 hours by then or 12, you're a slacker who goes home early.
So I think it's TM's 2d point.

I'm just going to hit this dead horse one more time -- I think that performing surgery is different than anything a lawyer does. Hospitals and doctors don't have the same kinds of "face time" requirements, for one thing.
I agree though that Thurgreed's point probably has some validity too.

No. I know this because I visited the Baseball Hall of Fame as a young child.

Billable, actually, literally.

Young child isn't redundant. It indicates 5 or 6 as opposed to 11 or 12.

Who knew? But yes, I must amuse some people in that train-wrecky type fashion.

Don't interrupt Hank as he does his performance art. It takes concentration.
