WSOP Odds

I wonder if the women pros have longer odds because of how few women make final tables generally. And I've wondered for a while how it works out percentage-wise based on the fact there are so many fewer women players.

So many questions.
The main event doesn't start until July 7, although 19 other bracelets have already been awarded since play started June 2, so these are pre-tourney odds - your runner must go, though. I am curious how many entries they will get this year.

July 7, Day 1A, The first 1,000 - 2,200 play down to 500-650
July 8, Day 1B, The second 1,000 - 2,200 play down to 500-650
July 9, Day 1C, The third 1,000 - 2,200 play down to 500-650
July 10 Day 2, Start with 1,500-1,950 play down to 500-1,000
July 11 Day 3B, Start with 500-1,000 play down to 200-400
July 12 Day 4, Start with 200 - 400 play down to 100-150
July 13 Day 5, Start with 100-150 play down to 27
July 14 Day 6, Start with 27 play down 9 @Binions Horseshoe
July 15 Day 7, Final table @Binions Horseshoe

Filling in for gwnc who was filling in for NotBob

For your Friday morning viewing pleasure (courtesy of Overheard in NY, of course):

Guy: ...it's just part of my ineffable charm!
Girl: If "ineffable" means "unfuckable" you're right on the money.

--Madison Square Park

I picture the guy as Wonk and the girl as fringey, but I'm a one trick pony on the FB of late.

Or Wonk after an especially sausage sandwich-intensive month. Assuming the man-boobs have been recently waxed, of course.

Annie Duke's win over Phil Hellmuth in the $2 million winner-take-all championship event was classic. Phil is very entertaining when he loses. I've watched the reruns of this from time to time and it always sucks me in.

Or not. I don't know. I am on my 40th hour. Soon I will leave, go home to my bachelor pad, silk pajama myself, pour a glass of wine and pass out. Thank god I don't have a porsche or I would be really fucking pathetic.
