I was surprised to see (well maybe not) in this week's Sports Illustrated that there is a bronze statute of MTM somewhere in Minneapolis. I found this odd, but I don't know why.

Happy Thanksgiving
So Thanksgiving's lineup says that Survivor and Apprentice will be up against the Grinch (Jim Carrey's version) and Charlie Brown. I haven't seen the Grinch (Jim Carrey's version) - is it worth it?
My favorite holiday movie is Christmas Vacation. I watch it every year. I love the part where the cat bites the Christmas tree lights.
I had never seen "It's a Wonderful Life" before about 3 years ago, but I guess I've seen it every year since.
Other holiday movies I should watch? I used to watch Rudolph and Frosty every year, but now I've grown tired of Burl Ives so haven't watched them in awhile.

Apparently it's an 8 foot statue and not very far from where Rollerblades were invented (thank SI!). FWIW, this week's SI reeks of Ralph Lauren Blue.
