Who the FUCK invited Balt to speak at my eulogy?

Babies are cute and nice and as rp said on the parents' board, lying next to a sleeping baby and holding it is an incredibly peaceful experience. Lasts until at least age 3.

b. You can go "What If?" just as much about "what if I never had a kid?" as you can about "what if I had had a kid?" so I'm not sure where you were going with this.

c. I will be highly amused if your wife goes part-time or whatever and her income goes way down and you are more trapped than ever after the baby.

d. Respect doesn't necessarily mean being able to pay the mortgage.

e. The waffle tires on the SUVs should be able to kill (and tenderize) the kid just fine. Their heads are softer than adults'.
I've always been kinda happy. I just had unrealistic expactations about life. I've never acknowledged that it can't be a 24/7 party full of interesting people and things to do. In a twisted way, idealism and naivete and refusal to admit the nature of this toilet of commerce we swim in has made me cynical. Godamned hope. It fucks you every time...

And thanks...

If I may, since I am at home with an ill 2 and a half year old, disagree...

It lasts until they realise that you are a seperate person from them. And then, well, then they want to put sparkly butterfly clippies in your hair, and little clippies with purple and blue hair sticking out of them in your hair, and you will sit down at the computer to see what all your internet friends are doing, moments after your sick two and a half year old goes to bed, and you will realise that you still have those damn clippies in your hair.

And you will not feel the least bit peaceful.

Seems to me there are worse things that could still be in your hair after hanging out with a sick two-and-a-half year old.

Nothing wrong with having clippies in your hair if they are placed there by a 2.5 year old. Hell, at least you're a girl and having clippies in your hair. Try being a guy, forgetting about them, and going to the hardware store.*

*Note that "the hardware store" is a manly euphemism for "get a pedicure"

Um, in my scenario, the kid is asleep, the adult is awake (but perhaps drowsing). It's when they are awake that they can be nightmares, especially if they are overtired/sick and awake. And if the adult is awake, they are better able to shield tender areas from flailing arms and legs.

If you change the hypo . . .

Paigow got deleted for pissing off the mods. I didn't pay enough attention to know whether deleting Paigow was justified, but I doubt Replaced Texan would have deleted Paigow unless deletion was reasonable.

THis is not accurate. And everything posted on lawyer gossip websites should be accurate, so I feel the need to set the record str8.

Paigow was deleted because she asked to be deleted. She was not banned, but the paigowprincess login will not be used on this site again.

If you feel the need to know more, you can write to your favored mod or admin and hit them up for the story. If you don't care why, carry on.

Thank you for your support.

I just need to take issue with 1 part of this post, Paigow does return and eventually takes over the board. It is a friendly take over, with RT selecting Paigow as the most responsible to take over.

I'm not much of a biblical scholar, but it seems to me that this is the third sign of the apocalypse, the first two being the "second coming of the paigow" and "Sebby becomes a dad." What's next, swarms of locusts?

No respect.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2219310

what ever happened to not pissing off the other team if you can help it?
  • AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- The Sacramento Kings bought full-page ads in two newspapers to apologize for showing derogatory images of Detroit on video screens prior to their home opener against the Pistons.

When the Pistons were introduced Tuesday night, the Arco Arena scoreboard flashed pictures of abandoned buildings, burned-out cars, piles of rubble and other negative images of Detroit. The Pistons won the game 102-88.

First of all, much of that brings to mind Paris, not Detroit. Second, you've got the "3rd best team in the East" playing your suddenly mediocre team. Why stir the pot?

And I hate ESPN's basketball guys. What is with Pacers/Heat as "the batle for No. 1 in the East?" What do the Pistons have to do to get respect?

The ESPN guy I hate most is the white guy with the chin dimple:

1 Who is he to have such strong opinions- did he play somewhere- sometimes he talks like he did?

2 How do you shave a deep chin dimple- is there a special razor?

Conf to ncs: Talking to your socks again?
