As to the first, thats not overeducation. Thats laziness. The target isn't too smart - he's hiding because he's lazy. Or perhaps a chickenshit.

As to the second, law school should be two years. Its filled with garbage requirements and too much theory. Its should be treated like a trade - just the essentials. If people want to go on to become const law scholars, let em go get an LLM in it.

No. I don't. I think intelligence is disproportionately distributed. There's not enough formal education in the red states and, in certain instances (leftist uber-intellectuals), too much useless, impractical theoretical knowledge concentrated in ceratin pockets of people. Simply put, we blue staters have too many clueless eggheads and the red staters have too many ignoramuses. The middle, as always, has all the practical intelligence which should, but does not, win the debates on where this country should go.

I am in favor of intellectual inquisitiveness and edcuation, but too many left-leaners aren't really inquisitive - they just study topics that reinforce their biases. Both sides need to learn more.
