Voldemort is weasly (not the family), not imposing like Lee. He's the creepy kid that no one liked, that learned some bad stuff because no one would sneak into town with him.
Mr. Atkinson would be okay for the role. Note it appears unlikely due to amount of denying a simple google search uncovers.

And people say it all the time about De Niro & Pacino...HOO AAHH!...but these guys aren't as bad as Mel Gibson, who not only plays the same character in every movie, but does so while not changing the theme of his movies:
(1) Mel is good. Sometimes a little mentally disturbed. But good. See Braveheart, Lethal Weapons, The Patriot, Ransom, etc.
(2) Something bad happens to Mel, i.e., his wife/girlfriend gets killed or son gets kidnapped, etc. It's usually family related.
(3) Mel goes completely insane. Or he goes MORE insane (insaner).
(4) Mel kills everyone who has wronged him. And them some.
(5) All is good in Melville. Except for Braveheart, where his body parts were placed on spikes. Minor disembowelment. Fortunately, Scotland is free.

You want to see the guy break charecter? Go Rent What Women Want. You'll be happy to see Lethal Weapon 10, after that shit.

Unless they cast Helen Hunt in it. Then it's the movie version of fuck or die.

Agreed. If you're looking to go old school and want to stick with sports, I nominate Oscar Gamble

This was the irony of Mel's Hamlet: he was born to play the part. Every movie he's ever made is really just Hamlet, when the basic plot points are boiled down. Yet it sucked.

Forrest Gump, while not an "issue" movie, might have been the easiest character to play in a movie. Ever.

Caucasian, please.
I hated that manipulative, misogynistic piece of crap movie, but Hanks was able to play his character in ways that made him sympathetic despite being incredibly uninteresting. That takes true talent and skill.
Real acting is a craft, and it's so much more difficult than it looks. Stop your remote on the Sci-Fi channel at any time to see what bad, wooden acting looks like.

Like Billy Bob Thornton. Except he sounds like that all the time.
