Right, those of us who live in D.C. and California and Boston (even those who have never lived in NY) don't understand these dynamics in the least, and we need patentpara to explain them.

It's the NBA. Nobody cares.

I'm thinking that it's probably best not to cross the Mississippi. Seems like assholes are all over the place there.

But you NYC-ers are so little. How do you not get your asses kicked more often?

I don't mind LaGuardia. The shuttle service from there to National is pretty good and, when it runs on time, runs every hour. The airport is so small that you often can show up and be on a flight within 15 minutes.

it's the clientele, not the service.

This morning, my train #1 was cancelled. Train 2 was 15-20 mins late. My schedule was off so I was literally coralled by the guards on the Today show because celebs were exiting as I'm muttering "i need to get to work this is so ridiculous" A homeless followed me out of GCentral. My moody starbucks person put my coffee in the wrong size cup and copped a tude when I corrected her. My co worker pouted since even though I left a message for the correct person, no one told her. [memememememememe] I think the Printer for the financial documents literally blew up the other day. NY is fun!

I don't like any fish (including catfish) (but I do like shrimp) (but I don't like any shellfish other than shrimp, if shrimp is even a shellfish) and as I have said several times, I don't like pulled pork bbq very much. Nonetheless, I heart NC.

It's not about the food!
