Foulke - Rivera: Normally this is a no-brainer, but Mo may be a snakebit by this team - wash

Burger, could you lend your avatar to Slave for a while? He'll need it for about a week.

They come in threes
I've been absent from the FB lately because I found another board to which I've become addicted. I picked up Christopher Reeve's death last night on that board I think seconds after it happened. I always seem to be ahead of the curve on knowing about celebrity deaths...it's a sad state of affairs when i get my news from internet chat boards faster than most people pick up things in the news. After about the 100th time I said to someone "hey, did you hear X died" and they said "no, where'd you hear that" and I had to lie and say "from an incredibly newsworthy source" I realized something is really wrong.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

They didn't follow up with "What makes your source so newsworthy?"

I apologize. My post was unclear. When I wrote "Don't hate," I certainly did not mean to suggest that you should stop your hateful ways. Not only do I know you (and thus know you well enough to understand the futility of such a plea), but I would not want such a result even were it possible. Instead, I was using the parlance of the kids of today, our nation's youth, the future of America. To them, "Don't hate" does not mean "Stop hating." Rather, it is a kind of shorthand for "Please direct your hatred toward a more appropriate target (e.g., the game, not the player)." I hope this clears things up, and that it does so in a non-condescending, less assjackian way.

figuring the answer to this is harder than "what is the sound of one hand clapping," but if she finds an answer she'll be one enlightened girl.

Way to go Hank. Half the board left to contemplate the question and the other half is breathlessly awaiting an answer.

I really just need to know who I'm supposed to be targeting. Maybe I should drop by Politics.
