Ty, obviously this story is still breaking. Much like Rathergate, let's wait and see where the chips fall or do you really think its impossible that the Clinton team (whether authorised from the top or not and I would assume plausible denialibility is the gudiing mantra over there) could not conduct such reserach and plant such inuendo?

What I wouldn't find odd is that her team (again, whether authorised by her or not, and I assume plausbile denialibility) would use the right wing media to source this shit. It gives them more cover to claim plausible deniability. Us, talk to those RW rags!?!!? Never. And sheeple would tend to believe this.
Certainly you are not naive enough to think that this shite doesn't go on, are you?

Maybe there are other more highminded folkes here and abroad who will join me in an ethical stance.
Anyone?

If you take an ethical stance, I'll join you.

2. I support Ty in his suggestion that extreme party organs like NRO or Insight, and by extension NYT WP and LAT, have no place posted at a place like this where we are all too educated to believe the dogma.

I fully believe that they are capable of it. I just don't believe they did it. If it came out of Hillary's campaign, it would have been leaked through AIPAC or CBS.

If you were capable of it you would already be here. Sad. In your case I blame the Cook County machine. You are victim and I hope someday you can get liberated from that oppression.

If you have ever worked in national politics you would know that Washington tends to be a small town where partisanship can be transcended by political gain, i.e. politics makes strange bedfellows. If you assume the right only sources the right and likewise on the left, you are making an ass out of yourself, again.
As for AIPAC-I personally know higher up operatives in AIPAC who are Republicans, including but not limited to Bush Rangers. How do you explain this?

If you were not being so arrogant, you would recognize that the Clinton camp would be smart enough to realize that anyone they might actually sway would either (i) not take anything coming from Insight or NRO seriously or (ii) would not have heard of either one.

I disagree. Once it hits the internet its everywhere. We are a year out from the first primary, this is the start of the a campaign of chipping away slowly. The subject will probably die for now and then be resurrected again with different, new details. To the extent I recognize superlative performance, the Clinton campaign machine is one of, if not the best, at being dirty. Carville and his people are the successors of Lee Atwater and both are forebears of Rove. Are you really this naive?

Impossible? Certainly not.

If you want Democratic primary voters to see a smear, getting into Insight or NRO is an odd choice. As it letting the outlet that runs it source the leak to you. If you're not getting some assurance of anonymity, they're going to burn you, as they did here, which kinda defeats the purposes of going to the wingers in the first place.
OTOH, the wingers get to burn both Obama and HRC with this. A two-fer!
