A buddy of mine made almost that exact argument in law school. More on a harm-to-others principle, though. As in, when was the last time someone high did much harm to someone else? No high bar fights, no high driving, etc. People are too mellow on pot to do bad stuff to others.

I am usually free. Although I discovered yesterday it is a 5 minute walk to the Ventura County border. That would put me on the far west side, but occasionally I wander over the hill to Malibu for some seafood on PCH. Maybe we could have lunch there with some of your famous people?

I had occasion recently to be in the office of a solo in Gladewater, TX. He had guitars right there in his office. He had a couple of nice Martins in the meeting area. My nephew, who is friends with the attorney's son, told me he also has a nice electric setup in the back, but even though I was left alone in the office for a while, I didn't really feel comfortable snooping to check it out.
