No you wouldn't. And here, because you've been struggling all day to turn the conversation, here's Guys Gone Wild!!!
My complaint is, if they're going to do this, they need to find hotter guys. Guys like Brad Pitt and the like. Not goofy dorky college guys.
Starting July 13, three titles will be available on DVD and video through a Web site and an 800 number: “Guys Gone Wild,” “Guys Gone Wild: Spring Break” and “Guys Gone Wild: Frat Boys.” (psst, Coltrane, anything you want to fess up to in advance?)

If you find one, I'll think about it. Go Google "Luis Figo"

Oh. The avatar is so small, I thought it was shirtless guy from yesterday or the day before. Use him.

Who gives a shit? It can't be because the games are low scoring. I love tight football games with great defense. And I think nothing is more exciting than a playoff baseball game that is tied 0-0 or 1-1 going into extra innings. So, lack of scoring isn't the problem. And really, when people say Americans don't appreciate it, it's shorthand for saying we have short attention spans and need lots and lots of scoring.
I just don't give a shit if you're really good at kicking a ball and running really fast. It's not the type of skill that a superior athlete can impress me with. Sometimes it's fun to watch, usually it's not.
I'm sure the majority of the world feels the same about baseball. I don't look think less of them because of it.

I do not give a shit that Americans do not like soccer except to the extent that it affects me directly - soccer games are hard to find on TV, not available for general viewing live, etc. Other than that, I do not think there is any particular sport that is more worthy of viewing than another. People like sports they are accustomed to and Americans are not accustomed to watching soccer. There is nothing wrong with that. I like watching soccer and following the Tour in large part because I like playing soccer and cycling. If I liked to play baseball, I would probably find baseball less skullfuckingly boring.
The only issue I had was when the criticism goes from "I don't like watching soccer" to "Soccer is an objectively less worthy game because of [low scoring, propensity for ties, etc,.]." Or, even more ridiculously, when the criticism takes the form of "all they do is kick the ball and run fast." At that point, it moves from an issue of preference to one of ignorance. Different team sports have different skills. If you think all you need to do to play soccer well (or even competently) is kick the ball and run fast, then it is pretty clear you have not played soccer (or at least not since you were in 4th grade).

Same team, different guy. If it makes any difference (and I know that you won't care) this guy is a much better player than the guy yesterday.

Poll: would you work anywhere in the U.S. for $5M/year (assuming the job itself was acceptable)?
|
For $5M/year I'd work anywhere in the US or otherwise, whether or not the job was acceptable.
For $1M/year I'd work anyplace in the US, whether or not the job was acceptable, as long as it didn't involve Thurgreed's mamma (I have some principles-she pays me).
And having scrolled and then posted, for $500K lump sum payment after taxes I would join the communist party, a lifetime membership.
For $250K lump sum after taxes I would vote for Hillary for President and give Thurgreed a foot massage. No pun intended. No offence.

If he looks as good shirtless, and you make him shirtless your avatar, I will prefer the better player if only to make you happy.
