Fuck - Babs. She apparently is good in the sack.
Marry - Bush. She's loaded. Plus, I wouldn't mind trying to get W to party again.
Kill - Walters. I just COULD NOT LIVE WITH THAT LISP.

Given that list, there really is no other way to go.

Is it possible that the politicians and bigshots who go on Imus don't know what he's saying the rest of the time because they don't listen to his show? I find this plausible only because to the best of my knowledge I've never heard his show.

Duh.
Marry Walters- she's rich, plus you could meet the famous.
F. Bush. Look at her. She must have had something going in the sack to convince Sr. to marry her.
Kill Barbra.

You gave us a list of rich, unattractive women over 60 (or damn close), and you pretend there is an obvious answer?

I'd expect most don't listen to or watch his show -- but they can still find out after the fact:
"Congratulations to Cal Ripken Jr., who decided that selling a few more books is not worth abandoning his principles. Ripken backed out of his appearance on the Don Imus show this week after Imus' insulting comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team. Imus has since apologized and been suspended from his show for two weeks."

Congrats to Ripken indeed, for shrewdly guarding his endorsements.
The Imus Thing - (n) A temporary public flare-up, recurring every 8 months or so, involving a different public figure saying something possibly construed as racist. Fanned by publicity hounds, always including Al Sharpton, the story becomes a salacious media fixation for a few weeks, until new video of Lindsey Lohan flailing drunk with powder residue under her nose appears on YouTube. Known in literary circles as a "Another Sherman McCoy Incident."
