Pornographer Says He Has Nude Lynch Photos. Yahoo News.
Not to get all political here or nuthin, but we've been hearing quite a bit out of Ms. Lynch recently. For example, we hear reports that no doctor corroborates that she was "raped". Well, actually, "sodomized" was used in one article. And where is this sourced? Why, in her book of course!

Given that its not the kind of thing you go yelling from the rafters, I guess it almost sounds believable, though I still feel like I'm missing part of this picture here, what with her severely broken bones and her unconscious condition and all that.

And then there was her whole "they used me", but I'm still glad I got a million dollar book deal as a result blah blah blah.

And now this. Ungrateful, uncouth, unclothed. Kids'll be kids, huh?

That was 20 years ago, maybe, so perhaps the Brits have come along since then. And Trillin surely said it funnier.
Trillin said many wonderfully funny things about British cooking. My personal favorite was:

"You can't say the British can't cook and they have no sense of humor. Their food is a joke in itself."

Slave,

Enough $25 chips. I'll see your stack and up you this...

S(The only thing that beats it is a Mr. Roboto)D

Carry On My Wayward Son

Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond the illusion
I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high
Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I'm dreamin',
I can hear them say

Carry on my wayward son,
For there'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Now don't you cry no more

Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, it surely
Means that I don't know
On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune, but
I hear the voices say

Carry on, you will always remember
Carry on, nothing equals the splendor
Now your life's no longer empty
Surely heaven waits for you
I'm all in:

We built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll
Built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll

Say you don't know me, or recognize my face
Say you don't care who goes to that kind of place
Knee deep in the hoopla, sinking in your fight
Too many runaways eating up the night

Ma Coley plays the mamba, listen to the radio, don't you remember
We built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll

chorus

Someone's always playing corporation games
Who cares they're always changing corporation names
We just want to dance here, someone stole the stage
They call us irresponsible, write us off the page

Ma Coley plays the mamba, listen to the radio, don't you remember
We built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll

chorus

It's just another Sunday, in a tired old street
Well if you got the toco, oh, then we just lost the beat

Who counts the money underneath the bar
Who writes the wrecking ball in two wild guitars
Don't tell us you need us, 'cos we're just simple fools
Looking for America, coming through your schools

(I'm looking out over that Golden Gate bridge
Out on a gorgeous sunny Saturday, I've seen that low amount of traffic)

Don't you remember (remember)

(Here's your favorite radio station, in your favorite radio city
The city by the bay, the city that rocks, the city that never sleeps)

Ma Coley plays the mamba, listen to the radio, don't you remember
We built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll

chorus 2x

(We built, we built this city) built this city (we built, we built this city)
(repeats out)

That is all.
I completely agree with respect to all songs except for the Bob and Doug song. How could anyone fail to enjoy those lyrics? True genius, I say.

Also the magnitude of the fact that it is only the second recorded time that TF and I have ever agreed on anything should be worth the time required to scroll it.

My favorite part of the defense was the "I blacked out and I don't remember anything about the incident, but I'm sure the whole was an accident...um...or maybe self-defense, or an accident, yeah, that's it.." Perhaps the jurors were enjoying liquid lunches on the county dime?

If you kids keep this bad music shit going, I'm going to post a hidden sound loop of 'Afternoon Delight" in every other post.

I swear to God, I'll go Vietnam on your Rush-loving asses.

I have noted (in my special book for such things) that you said "recorded time" and will take that to mean that there have (undoubtedly) been other occasions (perhaps numerous) wherein you have agreed with me (or I with you) but that were not "recorded" and thus remain special as between you and me and nobody else.

Beauty.

I understood that she was in fact unconscious, but the medical reports later showed evidence of sexual assault. I thought I heard something with her saying she is very grateful she was not conscious at the time of the assault.

real or fake?

(spree: duh.)

Sadly, no answer key. So the first person to get them all right needs to post the answers. I was a disappointing 7 for 12.
