Because it wasn't funny, original, or creative. That, and the source.
Sorry for the redundancy.

Sigh. We've been through this, Tyrone.
If a Republican does it, it can't be dishonest or false. If it is false, it was surely just a mistake, and probably made only because Clinton so badly damaged our intelligence operations/our financial infrastructure/our ability to tell right from wrong.
If a Democrat says it, it's either a lie or, if true, he didn't really mean it when he said it.
If all else fails, blame Hillary Clinton.

Here's the distinction I've been trying to make all day, an allegation is not a fact, no matter who says it or how many times. I'm particularly distrustful of Waxman (he used to be my Rep., so I know what I'm talking about).
That said, if it's true, so what? What harm to you see? Seems to me that any question would go to test Clarke's credibility, which is something that should be tested. I assume it is going on on the other side as well.

When will you guys get your head out of the Watergate era? It happened 30 years ago. Not everything is a conspiracy.
That said, the Hillary one is true.

If you have no problem when the GOP members of the Commission collude with the White House to take shots at a critic of the administration rather than asking questions which go the Commission's mission, then you should not be bemoaning the whoring of the commission to partisan ends. I made the mistake of thinking that the principle you held up the other day might cut both ways. My bad.

A year ago, One of my socks said that you were femmy because you use parentheticals. You actually repsonded and argued with me. Finally, you threathened to get Thurgreed after me.
My point, was that the most idiotic behavior i've seen in the last year, on this forum, in real life, in dreams, anywhere was you. you are stupid. You are never funny. You are certainly insecure, probably short,(Ty PM me- 5' 3"?). I have to say, when you were gone, no down side- no offense.

fuck Ty. the fact that a dem alleges the WH lied/ misled/ behaved poorly is getting a little waterered down, no? I mean if we believed all the allegations then Iraq was to gin up some $$ for Cheny, and Bush fooled Blair and most of the US. If we believe that, who cares about a little feeding questions to the commissioners.
Like, if its true hitler killed jews, why worry whether he broke some shop windows. Prove the killing, we can accept the windows.
otherwise, you're just piling onto a pile of unproven allegations.

He's been described as "tall and gawky" even when he's not wearing hiking boots.

Try as I might I can't remember the exchange, but it appears you took something seriously that no sensible person would have (threatening to get Thurgreed after you -- I mean, if that was something I said or intimated, could that be anything but a joke?)
Just wondering -- which sock was it? Was it Fluffy? That would explain a lot.
Interesting how you disdain me so much, but seem to hold so dear the memory of a discussion we had a year ago. And funny how, after posts like these ("oof, you are just the oh-so-stupidest person I've ever met or even, like, imagined, i mean you are, um, like, REALLY stupid") you would be surprised that people might interpret your earlier post as an attempted slam at me.
How fun. I have my very own right-wing stalker, who even bothers to compare me to his dreams. What's next -- telling me I killed Vince Foster?

I don't distain you, i find you useless*, I didn't attack you until you started this. I believe most people who read here would agree I am as reasoned a poster as any here, when i want to be. and I ain't your stalker, please! now you should just stop, or you will set a grudge. a long term, senseless, vile stupid grudge.
*also, in Greedy's defense, i awarded gilligan while you were gone.
