The deodorant expert said effectively that they are all the same. Like Shampoo. Or soap.

The excretions of bacteria that eat the sweat stink, yes? So if you stop the sweat, they have nothing to eat. Also, sweat does stain clothes, hence people's desire for antiperspirants. I think. I might have made this all up in a dream or something though.

I have found that in a pinch, tea tree oil is an effective deoderant if not antiperspirant. I think it kills the bacteria.

Wow, fringey that was quite scientific.

AoN I tried the Tom's of Maine. It sucked. as much as deoderant is rumored to be carcinogenic I can't be a sweat ball.

Although sweat can cause big wet circles, it doesn't cause those yellow stains on the armpits of white shirts; rather, antiperspirant does.

Black fly indeed!!

It's not deodoratnt that is rumored to be carcinogenic, it is anti-perspirant; and it's not carcinogenic that it's rumored to be, rather that it causes Alzheimer's and other neurological conditions. But other than that, you are so right!!

You don't buy deodorant or shampoo in an organic food store. Fresh Fields has no business even having that aisle of products. They ought to devote that space to more pre-made food.

Yes. Something like that. I think. I don't sweat and I also naturally smell like lavendar with a hint of all-spice. And some days cedar with a hint of vanilla.

How does anti-perspirant work? If you cover your body with it, will you die like those women that Auric Goldfinger painted?

In fairness, if you research enough, you will find that everything is rumoured to be a carcinogenic. I blame Joe Jackson. The one with shoes.

I would think you'd smell a bit like shit some days, what with all the stirring of it you do.

We shop at Whole Foods but same difference.

Yeah those natural beauty products like Jason and Alba etc. are all kinda pale copies of the real thing. Great for the kids, sunscreen etc. but for adults, not so great.

And to robust puppy who died and made you the deoderant timmy???!!!!

I am above the hands on work. My minions do the actual stirring.

eta: Oh, wait, I don't stir it anymore. I am kinder, gentler and more well behaved these days. Seriously.

Minions? You called? Hi, Penske!! Sure, I'll stir for you.

Are you going to give me more than $250 for Christmas?

Many thanks. At the ready.

1. Actually, same company.

2. I don't trust a non-aerosol shaving cream.

3. I was thinking the same thing. Thanks for articulating it.
