You don't enjoy the sushi? The rare tuna steak? The fresh nova? The grilled calamari in fresh olive oil, garlic and lemon? The clams on the half shell?

Its almost the only thing I eat. I fear some of the disjointed prose I vomit here is from the mercury poisoning.

You should rethink your non seafood position in light of the mad cow disease's recent North American debut.

Wow, no one has ever questioned my feelings on seafood or encouraged me to try things before! I had never thought of grilled calamari with olive oil, garlic and lemon! That sounds so good. Thanks, sebby, for turning my life around.

To answer your questions: only if it doesn't involve non-shrimp seafood, no, no, no and no.

And who do you think that second mad cow was? A farm animal? Think again.

Speaking of, a friend just got back from Pacific fishing off Baja with 8 fresh Albacore. I'm not a huge Albacore fan (usually prefer the ahi), but damn that was good. Maybe they're around this weekend to fix me some more...

Is anyone going to explain "Katie Holmes' missing 16 days"? I don't have time to google stupid celebrity news.

I went and had the Good Sushi last night at the Good Sushi Restaurant -- the one I have never gone to before unless it was on the firm's dime. Goddamn was it Good.

The only problem with this is that (1) the Good Sushi makes every other sushi taste like a rubber chicken's puckered asshole and (2) I don't have the scratch to eat the Good Sushi all the time. So it's back to chicken tikka masala for the time being.

Fish in your part of the world is sooo much better than mine. I have had the best sushi of my life in your area.

Have you tried the white tuna? Its milder, but very tasty. Great sushi consistency/texture.

I'll share my wasabi peas with you.

I find that "Shut. The. Fuck. Up." works well in instances such as this. Well, usually.

I am with you 100%. I wish I didn't experience many things in my life that I can't afford to have all the time unless I work really hard (which detracts so much from the experience of getting those things that I'd rather not have them). I think I'd have been much better off growing up dim, twisted and smelly in a trailer park. I'd flame out in a meth fireball at 37 and never be the wiser.

None of the angst; all of the meth and whiskey. And a fat girl with thick blacck pubes pouring out of the sides of her turquiose stretch Daisy Dukes.

Fuck, I need a Budweiser, can... fast.

That seems so . . . harsh. Which really doesn't go with my internet persona.

Mmmmm, chicken tikka masala. Mmmmmm. Hell, mmmmmm [insert non-fish (except shrimp) food item here] tikka masala. Mmmmmm.

IIRC, she disappeared for 16 days, then resurfaced all lovey-dovey with Cruise and professing her desire to convert to Scientology.

I had the ok sushi last night. I had the shit sushi on Saturday, and the Good Sushi last weekend - it was cheaper but we had to stand in line. Argh.

I ate the spicy tuna bowl or the spicy salmon bowl from the pretty good and cheap sushi place downstairs for almost two weeks straight at lunch. Today I had a salad. But I missed the sushi bowls. I fear I'm becoming an addict.
