dtb might suggest that it's Lupe's Tortillas, but you're close enough. Yes.

Me too. Instead I sat inside and watched the animals going down the street two by two.
During the few hours without rain this weekend, I worked in my garden. After about 5 hours, I had reclaimed approximately 30 square feet from two summers of neglect. As I have another 60+ square feet to go, I think I should hire the teenage sons of some friends from church to finish the job.
So what's in this big hole anyway? The 10,001st lake?

U.S. Mental Illness Rate
Supposedly, the US has a mental illness rate of 27%, which is substantially higher than any other countries.
It's not surprising that the U.S. tops the rates. Mental illness doesn't carry enough social stigma in the U.S.
It's cute that psychologists/psychiatrists are concerned: Newsflash: Most people lead shitty lives and are better off indulging in alcohol, drugs, religion, psychology and other compulsive behaviors than dealing with reality.

What Bilmore's Kids Did This Weekend?
Maybe they were headed to MR's house to help with his project. From the Mpls paper:
Quote:
Two 10-year-old boys caused up to $500,000 in damage at a construction site in north Minneapolis after they took a bulldozer for a ride, authorities said Tuesday.
City Communications Director Gail Plewacki said the policy is for workers to remove keys from the ignitions of equipment after use, and a city employee at the site said he followed it. The case was under investigation, she said.
Police spokesman Ron Reier said the boys were arrested about 6 p.m. Sunday. They may be charged with felonies, he said.
Reier said the youngsters got inside a fenced-off Heritage Park development along state Highway 55 and used the bulldozer to crush a construction trailer and knock down a power line, which kept nearby KMOJ-FM off the air for more than 16 hours.
Damaged construction siteJerry HoltStar Tribune``The parents might have to stand with their kids on this one,'' disk jockey Sam Soulprano told KSTP-TV. ``Teach them both a lesson.''
Workers returned to the construction site Tuesday with new equipment.
``They did the damage, you got to put the blame on them,'' said city worker Arnold Kleinschmidt. ``You can't hold their hands and say 'Well, they didn't know any better' and all of that. I don't buy that.''
One city worker told the television station that this was not the first time that there has been damage done to the construction site. However, the worker said none of the previous incidents was so severe.

I say we start by stigmatizing the anxiety disorders, and then move to the mood disorders.

A friend of mine had had a rough time: he lost a parent, then lost his job. Thereafter, he began seeing a shrink for depression and was prescribed prozac. He lost his ability to get a boner, gained 30 pounds and slept 14 hours a day. Real success story there.
Bottom line: we need more people taking more drugs.

By the way, I think the Olsen twins turn 18 this week. Which means they might fall off the blessed face of the earth. There were hotter looking 18-year old twins at my college... in the engineering department.
And I went to a school that's not known for its coeds.
