Messed around with gender roles/
Jeffrey Toobin of the New Yorker with some journalistic scoop: Article III Groupie of "Underneath Their Robes" fame is a dude.
- In real life, A3G is a thirty-year-old Newark-based assistant U.S. attorney named David Lat. “The blog really reflects two aspects of my personality,” he said over lunch recently. “I am very interested in serious legal issues as well as in fun and frivolous and gossipy issues. I can go from the Harvard Law Review to Us Weekly very quickly.”
Speaking of the New Yorker, one of my favorite cartoons says it all:

FYI, tell your mom to shave closer next time I hate getting beard burn from her tossing my salad.

Your "Dad" has a third hole and your "Mom" needs a shave? It's no wonder you wear stockings and lace garters under your trousers.

Taken with the subject line, I see this cartoon as you finally voicing your opinion on the "is nfh a guy" question. Correct interpretation?

Quick Question: Is that Woody Harrelson in your new avatar?
Follow-up: Are you planning to explain the significance at some point or is it up to the viewer to make up a story to accompany the avatar?
Finale: If I make up a good story about it, is it okay if I use it in my never-to-be-completed novel?

Yes. With club sauce. When he's dining with Lucille 2 at the country club: "I'm not ashamed to be with you; I'm ashamed to be seen with you."

No.
You can make up a story.
Of course.

Ernie, Here I Come
I am so stoked! I had not realized that the hotels in Pamplona for the San Fermin (Running of the Bulls) festival were basically sold out exactly a year in advance, i.e. that people and tours book the moment the can from the year before. This, plus I found that hotels charge 3-4X their normal rate, i.e. a 2.5* basically shitty 70 Euro a night hotel charges 250 during the festival, and a decent hotel is going to charge over 400, and I am looking at doing 5 nights, so I was resigned to either way overpaying, being way outside of town, or doing some sort of camping/sleep in a rental van thing.
But I found what looks like a pretty decent place for 97 Euros a night, not that far from the old town. Whoo Hoo! I rock. Ernie, Here I come.

Yayayayayayay! Have you heard it? I was at a show two or three weeks before, and it was a perfect, perfect show.
ETA: Am now listening to the cuts on the website. I'm a happy, happy person. It's a good thing that guy in front of us at the Wilco set at ACL isn't listening. He could be dead if he heard this.

Haven't heard it yet, but I watched the Friday show alone (couldn't get to the center where my friends were) and it was unbelievable.
