I don't read the PB and I won't. You can't make me. That said, I'm not sure if your prosecutor/law analogy fits in this case anyway. We're talking about sports rules, not criminal laws.

I also see that you purposely ignored the other hypotheticals I posed. But that's cool. They probably don't fit anywhere into your argument anyway.

As you would know if you frequented the PB, I am often willing to keep beating a dead horse much longer than this, but I didn't want to annoy everyone else here, which is why I didn't respond to any of the hypotheticals you posed. Suffice it to say that an essential attribute for a ref is knowing when to put the whistle down.

He's just tired of getting his ass whipped by PLF in all those ERISA pre-emption debates.

I beg Penske to keep them on the PB. Not because I have any great love for Hillary (I wish she'd withdraw because I think she's unelectable on any part of the ticket), but because they are just plain annoying.

Nah. I don't buy it. I think it's because you have to argue that the ref should ignore a penalty he is required to call because of the nature of the rule. Since you have chosen to completely ignore the fact that he does not have that discretion, it makes it hard to keep the argument that he should swallow his whistle going. But feel free to pm me. I'd love to hear your take on why the other calls I mentioned should be ignored at the end of the game.

However, TM, I dont think Ty is right for the role of your next door neighbor/sidekick. I, on the other hand, would be perfect -- kind of a Major Healy to your Major Nelson. Or a Jerry the Dentist to your Bob Newhart (from the show where he was the shrink in Chicago).

Have your people call my people.

My people are looking for new material. You've pitched this idea in similar forms like 6 times already. Just because your people haven't heard back from my people does not mean my people did not receive your people's pitch.

Then you should be firing some of your people as an example to the others.
