Despite your obsession with Wilson, which is starting to seem similar to your obsession with paigow, Wilson is not the issue. It's Turd Blossom.

Quite the contrary. Rehnquist's actions have told Novak, bilmore, Penkse and Slave to take their predictions and go piss in the corner.
Further, such actions have made the Baby Jesus cry. The stars had aligned for Bush to nominate two -- TWO -- SC justices this summer, after which Bush would be consumed in holy light immediately preceding the Rapture. Rehnquist's intransigence in the face of this divine providence is just fucking things up, and if he knows what's good for him, he'd better remember what happens when you get on Rove's shit list.

as Mark Yost, an editorial writer at Knight Ridder's St. Paul Pioneer Press.
His colleagues are unimpressed.

I am reminded of a news item from a few years ago. An usher at a movie theater (in, I think, Nigeria) was arrested for attacking patrons with an electric cattle prod. When asked why he done it, he responded that they wouldn't stop farting at him, stating:
"They're a bunch of farting bastards with no respect for Baby Jesus."
Obviously, this must immediately become the new board motto.

At least one of these people has had their prediction abilities put to the test previously (i.e., in the last presidential race) and come out to be a wee bit overly pessimistic.
Anyhoo, I'm just saying, I don't believe in putting people out to pasture, particularly with our social security crisis looming. Ole boy Bill is setting an example for the older folks by his work ethic. And yes, I know its repeating myself, but I've honestly seen too many people for who retirement=death, and I don't think that's how we should treat our older people. Or our Chief Justices.

Yeah, the press never throws out an unconfirmed idea to a source to get their reaction. Novak has heard something from one source. He gets confirmation from Rove, who's in the know. And Rove wasn't a producer? What was he telling cooper--"I hear from Novak that she's covert"?

I read today that Rove learned about Plame from Novak. He did not use classified access, probably becuase the information was not classified.
I'm prepared to call for Rove's ouster if the facts support it. They simply don't at this point.

Remind me of this when I get the next 5000. I will use it subject to putting it in "hi less" HTML form, giving you full credit of course.

My predictions were rock solid. A couple of my socks blinked.

Hmm.
John Derbyshire at the National Review's Corner:
- Given that the four London suicide bombers were all raised -- in at least one case, born and raised -- in Britain, the quintessential liberal democracy; and given that the entire premise of current U.S. policy is that we can end suicide bombing and other terrorism by bringing liberal democracy to the Middle East; shouldn't we be re-thinking our policy?
