Hal Hartley is one of my favorite directors. His films are small and quirky, but somehow compelling. I really like Trust and Flirt, both of which feature Martin Donovan, my nominee for actor working in semi-obscurity most deserving of hitting the bigtime. The Unbelievable Truth is also good. None of them involve monsters.

Yea! They killed her! But why did they give her Lorne's writers (and lines)? I am sorry that it looks like Lindsay will be spending some time getting tortured by the sr. partners, though, instead of continuing to please me with his regular presence on the show. Nice change of pace that they just let it all be a mini-arc, rather than some over the top all-season fiasco of hystrionics. But I still want Lindsay back. But only without Eve, she sucks.

Oh, I wouldn't be surprised to see Lindsay back towards the end of the season, after the Senior Partners are done with him. And damnit, I like Cordelia. With the exception of season three Saint Cordelia, she's always been one of my favorite characters on either series. Hmph. Thank god that when people die on these shows they can always come back. Except for Doyle, cuz Glenn Quinn actually died.

Well, which is it? Since yo' mama was the first, you need to specify whether she thought it looked like a pencil or a crack pipe.

I'm seriously looking into it. I need an excuse to use my camping equipment. It looks phenomenal (which is a word I have to sound out to spell).

Strangely enough, both my prom dates live in Palm Springs.

Meanwhile, Luke is averaging 2 points a game and 1 rebound. Every other player on the court deserved a segment before him. Hell, I'd rather hear about the towel boy's trials and tribulations.

Don't get me started on Bill and Luke Walton...

I'm still pissed that CBS let him call a Sweet 16 game (I think) in the NCAA tourney a few years back when little Lukey and Arizona were playing a certain favorite school of mine. The whole damn game was Luke this, Luke that, Arizona this, Arizona that... Naturally he denied being partial afterwards (the network wouldn't let him cover his kid's games after that though).

And I thought he was a raging asshole before...

No wonder you need a roommate. Those limo rentals are going to be expensive.

As long as you're not Ron.

But whose your mama?

Yeah, but regardless of who's calling the games for CBS, it's Arizona this and Arizona that. Billy Packer still can't get enough of Miles Simon and whoever else.

Had the same shit a few times with my school. Its one reason I'm glad Luke's ass is in the NBA. I do hope he's taking I-tye lessons next year. But still, The Lakers I can ignore, NCAA games against Arizonia are harder to skip.

Bill had to alienate people around the country with this part of his act, combined with the basic repugnance of the rest of his act; WHY do they let him do TV?
