Why is Damon still leading off?
Why is Bellhorn even playing?
Is Tom Gordon cooked?
It's gonna be fun.

Yup.
Don't know.
I REALLY don't know, we have several other solid defensive infielders to call on.
Don't know.
Francona played with the lineup all season long, why is he sticking to his guns now?
Yes, it will be fun. How's the weather down there?

This happens to me all the time. Often, it turns out that both the Mr. and I are asleep, because we'll both wake up sort of in the middle and later accuse each other of nocturnal molestation. So it is entirely unclear who starts it (we both talk (I apparently negotiate in my sleep when I am working enough hours), but neither of us is a sleepwalker). In any event, it has never been so disorienting that we don't happily continue.

Friday Night Lights
It was very good. Yay! I saw it last night. Mr. Lunchbox Collector, however, needs to stop living back in the day when he (well, his team) won the state high school football championships. He could relate to the movie a bit too much, I'm afraid. I give the film a B++ Also, if you go to the theater by yourself on a monday night, you are a freak. Particularly if it is only you (the single freak) and Sunny and the Lunchbox collector in the movie theater and you ketp up 4 times and change your seat during the movie.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

What nights can I go to the theater by myself? Friday? Saturday? I promise I won't get up and change seats.
What if the movie is being shown in a class that is part of the extension program at a local university? Does the answer change if you don't stay for the after-movie discussion?

When I worked at the movie theatre in college, the single people (mostly guys) would come in during Saturday matinee.
If you're looking for guys, that is the time to go.

Wait a minute! You give me crap for not being adequately hip on the Mom's and Dad's board (and since when has posting on the Mom's and Dad's board been hip in any case) while you're heading out all alone to lurk around undergrads in dark movie theatres, and then even crashing their discussions to try to impress them with your age and wisdom, a la tea and sympathy?

Guinea pigs
And because I can't help myself, and this is too weird to pass up....Guinea pigs to scamper onto your dinner plate
Peru university researchers breed new new culinary export.
Segundo Quispe (left) and his nephew Maximo Quispe eat guinea pig in a restaurant in Lima, Peru on Oct. 18. Peruvians consume an estimated 65 million guinea pigs each year.
LIMA, Peru - After 34 years of patient tinkering, researchers at Peru's most prestigious agrarian university have bred a new culinary export they hope will scamper onto dinner plates throughout America and the world: the super guinea pig.
"It is well known that Peruvians eat guinea pig. Foreigners are more reluctant to eat it as they see the animal as a pet," said Gloria Palacios, director of La Molina National University's project to promote guinea pig exports.
"I think if they become familiar with the cuisine, maybe suddenly they'll give in and be tempted to try it," she said. "It is really delicious."
Peruvians consume an estimated 65 million guinea pigs each year. It is a dining experience that normally requires two hands to pick scant, sinewy meat from a bony carcass _ often with the head staring up from the plate.
But earlier this year, La Molina university started exporting the "Peruvian Breed" _ faster growing, plumper, tastier guinea pigs _ to the United States, Japan and several European nations that have large Peruvian immigrant populations.
Today, churches in Lima and Cuzco still display Indian depictions of the Last Supper with Jesus and the 12 disciples eating roasted guinea pig.
Poor little things.

I read this today in the Boston Globe online. It made me weep.
''A basic tenet of human nature is the tendency toward affiliation and loyalty, which transcends even repeated disappointment. What may seem like sheer masochism is actually a testament to the power of hope and desire. And as we know, hope springs eternal for Red Sox fans."
I can't believe they're going to do this to me again. Don't worry, TM. There will be a game 7. And the Sox will blow it in the late innings.
eta: I am clearly a masochist.

Question for the women: Would a small penis be a deal breaker for you?
Edited to clarify smallness: "Maybe three inches and not very wide. Maybe a little room for growth, but not much."

Demi and Ashton. Cameron and Justin. It's hip to go out with younger guys. I can see how you would be totally ignorant of what's hip, though.
People at extension courses are generally old fogies. And, I've only ever gone to a movie alone once. It was a theoretical question.
