Actually holiday tipping and related customs makes me really uneasy. I guess because I never know what I'm supposed to be doing...

You are tipping per general custom or even on the generous side of custom (which is a week's pay for anyone who provides services to you at home).
Do you want to be known as someone who tips according to custom, or as the generous hot-shot we all know you to be?

I think what I will do is tip them each their share of the hour. Cause y'all are all over the fucking place, and my dad said 20 bucks per.
On another note I came home to a note from the DA saying they needed to deliver 6 supboenas to me. 6 fucking subpoenas. Jesus. Way to kill the buzz.

I still think my idea has merit. Spreading the joy, so to speak. Happy Chrismmukah to all!

The dry cleaner is a business owner and so I would think no tip, but if you know the person who presses your pants, then maybe.
Mail man - yes if he delivers your mail to you and not your assorted neighbors. Technically he's not supposed to accept cash, but what's $10? Food gifts are also recommended, but I would think you would have to be friendly with the guy.
The vet is a professional, so no, but some flan or miles of chocolate (keep it away from the dog) would be a lovely gesture for the doc and the staff. Groomer, yes. $25. Dogwalker or petsitter, depends on how much you use their services.
Favorite bartender - yes. $25 should do.
Tamale lady -- yes. $10.
I don't know if tip amounts are right but they sound good and they give you the authority you need to feel comfortable about your tipping.

Business-related, I hope. Otherwise, I will have to disavow knowledge of whatever heinous acts you may have been involved in. You didn't incorporate this site as FucktheLawTalkers by mistake, did you?
On the bright side, in the spirit of the holiday season, they didn't take the opportunity to break the door down...

They should have those bastards. For what they put me through. Breaking shit, stealing shit, bringing a truck that was already too full of other people's broken shit so they had to send another truck (while we waited and almost missed a flight), not sending enough crates for the heavy stuff and making us wait for that, and then showing up late on the other end so we didn't have any furniture or clothes the first day, oh and then misweighing our stuff so that the actual bill was far far more than the "estimate" (which I found out is a common scam even for the big guys like the ones we used.)
Yeah, and just try to complain. You get the hahahahaha, well don't use us next time then.

Damn, I shouldn't have done the incorporation like that. E/O told me not to but I was too damn stubborn.
I have to testify against people who were arrested at pride this year. I already did once, they had a right of appeal to a new trial (that is how our DJ system works.) Normally the DA warns me first, I guess he forgot.

Old school bette midler
Week before christmas Ernie comes home early and finds his wife Sophie in bed with the mailman. as the mailman slinks out Ernie notices Sophie gives him an envelope.
"Sophie how could you do this?"
"Ernie, you told me to"
"told you to, no fucking way."
"yes you did. I asked what we should give the mailman for Christmas, and you said 'fuck him, give him a buck.'"

I often tell myself I'll stand up to muggers and call their bluff. With that gun, however, I don't think so.
Anyone else been mugged? Anyone fought back?

Re: the link to the elf nudity post, I do not recall having seen anything like this, so the likelihood I would have intentionally linked to it is low. I admit to one Spree failure I'm aware of, but that related to a USB activated vibrator for use with cybersex chat rooms, which isn't particularly elfin.
Could you refer me to the post, so I can edit or delete the link?
