Dennis Miller? Talk about irrelevant. Is he still alive?

When you pick your writing samples make sure they're clearer than the above. The "he" subject of your last last sentence; DM or JFK? The "alive" question; do you mean that literally or figuratively? There are more holes in this than swiss cheese. If Ty did this for one of Sidd's clients, he'd have to start backing out of his bet right now- no bonus this year.

His show's not half bad, and a different demographic from most that Kerry would do well on. He's the conservative counterpart to The Daily Show: pointed and critical of the other side, but not rabid. He's okay.

Ty, out here in a swing state, when a witness tells a lie that doesn't relate too much to the case, say that he was somewhere on Xmas, his testimony becomes pretty much discredited in its entirety. That's just how jurors think. When one side proves the other side actually made up documents, well the side of fraud losses the whole case. Maybe Cali juries are more willing to understand motives, so you have different experiences.
|
This is why we tell witnesses not to lie. But when one witness lies, and you still have several more witnesses and a pile of documents supporting your case, and the other guy has nothing and is doing a softshoe routine to distract the jury, you're usually in pretty good shape.

Ty, I've always liked you, but this has to be the low point in your posting career. This as a source on Kerry's life is like 500 times more unreliable than a teenage blogger.

He wrote that he'd been in Cambodia decades ago, and you're dismissing it because it wasn't penned on the Mekong River on the other side of the border? There are a lot of war memoirs out there, and just about all of them weren't written contemporaneously with the events they relate. It doesn't mean they're all lying. Brinkley is no hack. If he's looked at the facts, I trust his judgment, without something more.

A.) If he wrote it, he wrote it years after the fact.
B.) We know he lied about the previously asserted aspects.
C.) The diaries aren't public, so we don't even *know* shit about what he wrote (which was written years after the fact, if at all).
D.) And we are taking his biographer/campaign spokesman's word on this.
Summed up: The smilies are those little round yellow things to the left when you post. When you are saying something that sounds A.) pro-Kerry but B.) so outlandish that nobody would say it with a straight face, I'd strongly urge you to use the smilies. Otherwise, Atticus or Sidd might get confused, think you are serious, and have you committed. Trust me, that's no fun.

Thank you. I love that cover. And it is the best analogy.

That's not true. Bush was not actually on active duty for four years or more.
Unless you're being a timmy by using the term "active service." if not, you must misunderstand the nature of service in the National Guard (any branch).

Your tattered syntax makes it hard to be sure of this, so I would like a confirmation. Did you just actually say that Clinton was responsible for 9/11?

It was either that, or that Clinton killed dogs. Hank occasionally slurs his speech after 4pm, so it's sometimes hard to tell.
