And Kirsten Dunst's breasts do look smaller in this one. But, damn, she has a nice body. I likes. Her face and teeth? Not so much. But, she has a nice waist and shapely breasts.

I was bored. And everyone was UNBELIEVABLY stupid -- don't they have an IQ test for superheros? Yeah, I know, it's based on a comic book, blah blah blah.

Do you think the former was the result of the latter?

I saw her on the cover of a magazine (I think it was Vogue?) as I was walking past a newsstand recently, and my first thought was, "Geez, couldn't they come up with a picture where her smile wasn't so obviously phony?" Maybe they don't like her -- she looked ridiculous.
In other news, while shopping on Friday after my furlough was granted, the gal who helps me at one store where I buy my duds was also helping Mary Tyler Moore.
MTM has had waaaaaay too much plastic surgery, but for a woman who has got to be pushing 70, she looks pretty nice. She's got a good figure; she's tall and slim -- not anorexic looking, but slim. Her face, though, looks dreadful in that "I've had way too much plastic surgery" way. I heard her say she has tiny spider veins in her legs too (hence, she doesn't like to go without stockings.) Mrs Not Bob and I saw it this weekend, and liked it -- heck, the sap was what made it so good. (Translation: I am old.) I'm with you on the likely villain in number 3, though. If Willem Dafoe can't make it work, why should anyone think that that pretty boy be able to?
As for Kirsten -- I just dunno what to think. I don't find her physically appealing usually (not that I find her unattractive) (though I thought she looked hot in "The Cat's Meow" or whatever that movie was), but she seems to have a great personality. She

I'm bored now. So another movie that I've seen recently and actually quite liked is Napoleon Dynamite. It kind of makes a little too much fun of Idaho-ans (Idahos? inhabitants of Idaho?), but with a name like Idaho, you are basically asking for it if you decide to live there, I suppose.

Kirsten's breasts looked good in the scene where the car comes through the window while she is talking to Peter in a coffeeshop. I think that one scene in the first movie where her shirt was soaking wet made them particularly obvious. Plus, maybe she was turned on and they got bigger like RT's.
My theory is that there will be two villains in the next movie -- the one you all are talking about and another, probably scarier, one. Spidey will be battling both of them for much of the movie, but then at a crucial moment the villain you are all talking about will realize the error of his ways and band with Spidey to take down the really bad guy.
More interesting, but still *snore* IMO.

If you haven't seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, you should. She dances in her undies and her waist/breasts are featured.
Also, it's a pretty good movie, but that's secondary.

Easily explained but outable, so hush hush, okay?
After "Spartan", Mongoose is my secondary nickname in real life. As a kid, in the youth of my childhood, I enjoyed roleplaying games with the my school chums. My favorite lad, Curt, and I enjoyed racing our bigwheels down the hills of our backwoods country town in Vermont and pretending that he was Don "the Snake" Prudhomme and I was Tom "Mongoose" McEwen. Good times.
Anyhoo, thusly, on certain Yahoo adult chatboards, I adopted the moniker Mongoose, however, when I signed up at Yahoo, seven hundred and sixty six incarnations of that name had already been taken. Thus I became Mongoose767.
I used that fake email account to open the illfated sock of the same name here.
Que sera sera.

Speaking of terrific movies, I rented "The Station Agent" over the weekend. Go. Rent. It. Now. It was one of the better movies I've seen in a while.

Apro...uh, speaking of the Potatoe (hi, Dan!) State, Dar Williams has a great song called "Iowa" -- it begins "I have never had a way with women, but the hills of Iowa make me wish that I could."
edited to add: Um, what's that? Iowa and Idaho are different states? Huh. Who knew. Live and learn.

I thought Boston's fireworks show was better than NYC's. Both were better than Houston's.
