I gave a shit for two years in college and wound up with a 3.1. I ate monstrous amounts of mushrooms through all of my junior year, basically turning my head into a heaping bowl of gelatin. The payoff? Dean's list first semester, almost dean's list second semester.

I've worked my ass off in cases only to lose several times. Then I bluffed through one a few years ago (terrible client, terrible facts). Payoff? Seven figures.

Success is as random as it is earned.
