Christ you are cranky this morning. Go splash some cold water on your face.

There are some news stories from CNN you can watch online -- see green box on right side of screen here: http://search.cnn.com/pages/search.j...ts&sortby=Date

ETA and NYT article -- I know you hate the damn liberal media, but it's just about pets, for chrissakes: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/09/08/na...fLLrgEd8gYg+6Q

Zombie insects

Is there a horror movie lurking in this story?

Dear. I simply wanted to know about the doggies and purty lil kittie. Since I am prone to dumb jokes, i didn't want my honest inquiry to be seen as simly that.

Sweetness, it seems to me if that is really how you felt about it, you would have acknowledged the joke and then said, "but no no, I'm serious, I really want to know about the kitties and puppies."

I think this "nicer" thing does not come naturally to you.

I've heard of one account of a pet owner still in New Orleans where he said that if they didn't save the dog, he wasn't going with the rescuers either. His point was that after losing everything and losing faith in everyone, his dog remained loyally at his side and was the only one that he knew absolutely that cared about him. I could see his point.

Not really confidential to Shape Shifter

SS, I love you, you really made me smile this morning. Guess what I heard on DC's best rock station as I drove into work this morning ...

Can't help myself from fa-all-ing
Stone in Love

What an amazing coincidence!

Those soaring vocals, the riveting guitar solos, I couldn't help myself -- I sang along at the top of my lungs. I'm in clover!

After my kids (or at least the ones who pass the paternity test) my dogs would be next in line.

What do you expect, A-Listers? I live in the fucking patch.
I met Dan Savage the other night, platonically, does that count?

Now that she's no longer breastfeeding anyone, she's expendable, plus I need the life insurance $$$ to start over.

tough choice for you I suppose. i mean, i get loyalty to any that might actually be your's, but really the ones who aren't you flesh and blood would actually stand a better chance of reaching adulthood and passing on the family name- lower probability of genetic mental problems- plus, I bet less obnoxious.

Would everyone please let me know you're ok?

Hunter Thompson's suicide note:

"No More Games. No More Bombs. No More Walking. No More Fun. No More Swimming. 67. That is 17 years past 50. 17 more than I needed or wanted. Boring. I am always bitchy. No Fun -- for anybody. 67. You are getting Greedy. Act your old age. Relax -- This won't hurt."

Old, greedy and bitchy. Apparently no fun for HST. Have to say it's working out pretty well for me, but YMMV. How 'bout the rest of you greedy old bitches?
