Otherwise known as the jackhammer (or its poor cousin, the jack rabbit)?
Poor Sequels.
(Sequels is you, right?)

Whoa. A Friday afternoon smackdown. Sounds like someone doesn't believe the whole "I'm likeable enough that a real live woman is willing to marry me" story. Which hand have you been calling Sequels again, Coltrane?

If that is a smackdown, we really have fallen far, fast.
*sigh*

Well, geezis, Fringey -- I mean, no one is in your category -- but, come on! Practice makes perfect and all that, don't you know.
Pfft.

I didn't think you intended it as a smackdown.

Maybe I did, and maybe I didn't.
OK fine; I didn't intend it as a smackdown, but then ncs made me sound all tough and shit, and I was sort of reveling in the moment and whatnot, and... and... well, then you had to go and ruin EVERYTHING! Thanks a lot.

Advice for Coltrane

I mean in a way its not my business, but if he's complaining about snake handlers at church a year from now, I'll feel like I should have done something.

I feel like you know me as well as anyone on this board, and so I assume you will properly interpret the significance of this: The cities of S.C. are infinitely preferable to the cities of N.C. or Va., with the sole exception of the major college towns of Va. and N.C.
The small towns of each of the three will pretty much be equally objectionable to your friend.

WRONG! It wasn't an entertainment industry job at all. I was sort of a client/server applications geek, once upon a time. But thanks for playing.

Actually it was on KROQ. They had the moviefone guy on giving a review of the documentary. KCRW is only in the car, not on the alarm clock.
Ps. We saw the Foo Fighters at a small club in the Valley last night. Was supposed to be an unpublicized event (we heard from our friend who used to be their marketing guy at BMG), but KROQ heard about it and reduced the coolness factor for us. Packed house (300-400) and line to get in instead of 50 people and the Foos. This is my str8outtatarzana moment of the week. Thank you all for sharing it with me.

Do you not have my number? What's wrong with you? I wouldn't have told anybody. I was at Genghis Cohen watching SHEER CRAP (actually a bizarre band called "Voco" - they weren't crap at all, but the coolness factor was off the charts, in a bad way).

Oh, c'mon, admit it -- Blacksburg just grew on you. One of these days, that Agricultural Science degree will pay off.
