My buddy (another big fan) was just as shocked as I was when the theatre gave the movie an ovation. It was not ovation worthy.
The Enron movie was quite well done. The clips from various employee meetings were quite revealing of the corporate attitude of Lay and Skilling. My favorite part was actually a clip from The Simpsons with Enron: The Ride ("we're rich!" "ooowww" "break even!" "ooowww"). Almost made me regret my decision to stop watching that show after Phil Hartman died.

I still haven't seen it. I was out in the middle of no where for most of the weekend, and the group I was with is absurd enough. There was no need to drive 60 miles to laugh.

I'll try to catch it sometime this week.

The perfect 3 song encore

What's the perfect 3 song encore?

I think I've narrowed it down to one of the following.

Song 1. Unexpected charming cover
Song 2. Huge Hit that everyone knew they'd play
Song 3. Lesser hit that some folks might have forgotten about

or

Song 1. Deep album cut that true fans appreciate
Song 2. Medium-sized hit with unusual twist (instead of bridge, sing bridge from one of their other songs)
Song 3. Biggest hit in their catalogue.

I did something really fucking stupid

Well, I actually have done three (or four, depending how you count) really fucking stupid things, but you folks are only going to hear about the uninteresting one. I have two computers. My ipod library is on the one I mainly use. I am using another one and put the ipod into it for the first time todya. I bought two songs and now all the songs that were on my Ipod are gonzo and I only have these two tunes on it. I am logged into my usual account ( I thought) so what happened? Where did the music go? How do I keep it back?

And I know this is a bozo question so save it and help a tuneless sister out. I have to go to the gym soon.

And so is the groom.
Quote:
DULUTH, Ga. - The jilted groom whose bride-to-be ran away four days before their wedding still wants to marry Jennifer Wilbanks, saying, “Haven’t we all made mistakes?” “Just because we haven’t walked down the aisle, just because we haven’t stood in front of 500 people and said our ‘I Do’s, my commitment before God to her was the day I bought that ring and put it on her finger, and I’m not backing down from that,” John Mason said Monday in an interview with Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes show.
They deserve each other.

Are they still on the hard drive of your first computer?

What happened is the iPod synced with teh new computer, and, seeing no songs in iTunes, took them off the iPod. Set the iTunes on the second computer not to sync with the ipod if you connect it.

You attached your iPod to another computer without telling the computer that you wanted to manually add songs instead of automatically add songs. It defaults to automatically compare your iPod to the iTunes playlist and it gets rid of everything on the iPod that is not on iTunes.

Go back to the original comptuer to get the songs back.

OK, so basically, I will still have my library on computer number one. Is there a way I can link to that library from computer number two or do I have to reload the whole shebang all over again when I get home?

And if I do, will i lose the two tunes I purchased today on computer numbet two?

You have been mostly helpful of late. Thanks,

You could e-mail the music to yourself and download it to the first computer, so you don't have to worry about losing the songs you lost and everything is incorproated into one playlist.

Yes, you'll have it.

No, you can't link it (thank illegal hackers for forcing apple to turn off that feature). But you can get some sort of streaming software. Or you can get software that allows you to move songs from your ipod to your computer. But the two won't stay synchronized, you're just copying the songs to the second computer (which is perfectly legal if they're both yours or for your use)

Email the shared songs. Keep in mind that if you give up the computer "deauthorize" it for purchased music so that you can load the songs on a new computer (I think you can put songs on up to 3 or 5, i forget).

i believe you misspelled hepful.

Based on this discussion, I'm probably going to think of her as Tweak from Southpark from now on.

How do I email songs to myself?

I just called the IT guy. This is really frustrating.

Take it to the geek board where they discuss this kind of thing. You're interrupting the flow of many important topics.

While I'm here, does anyone have any experience dealing with cinch bugs in St. Augustine?
