2. Also the paperbags act as a nice receptable under the sink for other paper products, which is then easily carried down to the recycling bin in the carport.

Its the new senior-associate-with-the-George-Will-haircut mobile in my part of the world. I think they give you a complimentary grey Brooks Brothers suit with it.

I get some paper bags because that's where I put the junk mail to take it to the recycling place. Similarly, I get some plastic bags because I use them for the cat litter and as trash bags.
I made my own muesli this weekend. I think that is granolaier than granola.
ETA I don't want to buy a ton of tote bags for the paper. I only do the recycling trip like once every month or two, and that's a lot of junk mail/paper packaging/etc.
If one is walking to/from the store, tote bags that go over the shoulder are much more comfortable for carrying than either paper or plastic.

Even two gets crowded. You have the nanny. The dogs. The kayak. Cooler for beer and wine. Mid-size SUVs are for midgets or singletons. Or dinks. No offence.

Do you spend every weekend going to tailgates or fucking picnics?
I don't own a mid sized SUV. I own a full sized SUV, you nattering nabob of non-comprehension.

I actually use the plastic bags for a good purpose. I put the cat turds in them when I clean the cat litter.

are you arguing here that you are a granola or that you are not a granola? You lost me about halfway through. I will tell you, from independent knowledge, that you are not a granola. I wouldn't think that you are a faux-granola wannabe, but maybe you can convince me of this.
If you are shopping at Ralph's for anything, you are not a granola.
Granolas only shop for items that they cannot grow for themselves. The once every month or two trip would not be the recycling trip, but would be the trip to a local, enviro-friendly fresh air market for provisions to take back to the compound.
Off the grid, baybee.

Why do the granola people always ask for paper bags at the market? Isn't that really anti-environment. Isn't that destroying trees for no good reason?
|
They wear them over their heads during sex.

I don't have one, but I hear that they are nice. Like Hummers, very popular in seattle, although I can't imagine the George Will crowd is large enough to buy them all.

Brady era cum NorthWest. I have a wraparound deck around the back of the house overlooking the lake and with a 180 plus degree sweepingly panaramoric view of the Cascades Mts., Cityscape and Olympic Mts. Under the deck is a car port. Views are big in Seattle. If I had to acquire a carport as part of the bargain, so be it.
