More Borat news -- according to The Defamer, a guy who was in a scene where SBC as Borat worked as a men's room attendant (which didn't make the final cut of the movie) has sued for invasion of privacy. The clip the guy is suing about is in the article, for now, anyway. YouTube apparently pulled an earlier version.
Line from the Defamer item that made me think of TM in bold:
- We're not entirely sure if some unsubtle gawking at a row of urinals really qualifies as an "invasion of privacy" (on the contrary, we usually interpret such unsolicited attentions, like the occasional filling of a stall wall hole by a curious, roving eyeball, as a flattering point of pride), but the Borat people can't be thrilled to know that individuals who didn't even appear in the movie are suing now, too, paving the way for scores more future lawsuits along the lines of "People In Neighboring Subway Car Traumatized By Sight Of Nearby Loose Chicken Vs. Borat."
Apparently, the guy may not have signed a release. The underlying news story from USA Today says:
- The plaintiff, a South Carolina resident, says British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen posed as a bathroom attendant at Ristorante Divino in October 2005, invading his privacy and staring as he used a urinal, according to the lawsuit.
"He is embarrassed and humiliated and leaves the restaurant," Milling said of his client Tuesday.
The plaintiff was told a crew was filming a documentary on tourism but he never saw cameras, which were hidden in the restroom, according to the lawsuit. The lawsuit makes no mention of a consent waiver and Milling said his client was not paid.

Did you see that the frat boys' lawsuit is a nonstarter?

Well shit. That's no fun at all. That says he wasn't even hurt. Because someone should have decked that guy a long, long time ago. If for nothing else than for bringing "grindage" into the language for 6 months.

Oh, don't fall for Not Bob's pretend helpfulness and the notorious unreliability of wikipedia. We are all laughing at you because "Tchotchke" actually just refers to a character whom Joanie loved in the mid-80's and has nothing to do with Yiddish or ncs' avatar, which is just a clever photoshop.

There are times I think living Shariah might be a good thing. I don't think I could find anyone who'd argue the removal of Shore's tongue isn't a positive for humanity.

He would probably be funnier telling jokes tongueless. Another thoughtful suggestion.

I want to do good, and by that I mean I want to give you unsolicited fellatio.

The very last person on Earth I'd discuss masturbation with is a priest.
Confession's a scam to give those wretched codgers some Penthouse Forum material to think about when they're yanking it.
Pretty fucking arrogant the way I see things. Some old fuck's acting as God's disciplinary hand?

Thanks! When I met ncs, she wasn't wearing that shirt -- hence my confusion.

If you want to get a sensual thunderbolt then you have got to be cocked, locked and ready to rock, doc. I find that whole milk and lots of Vitamin D help.
