A Sad Day for Chef

No, you're just looking at real ones. There was a recent article in Vogue on custom-made bras with a Paris fitter decrying the loss of the natural breast shape, as Americans in particular have come to seem to prefer the Carmen Electra artificial bulbous-at-the-top bubble boobs.
Though small uninflated women can also create a similar effect with the Wonderbra squish-and-boost, I've noticed.

This American male still digs natural shaped tits. If Americans like implants so much, then why do so many plastic surgeons advertise that they do "natural looking enhancement"?
Most people think all implants are big like Electra's. This is because women who get conservative small implants are not noticeable and generally not strippers. I've found out a few chicks I know have implants, and I would have never suspected it until they told me.
Although I'm loathe to sound like some sort of Bush-supporter here (because I'm not), consider the source. The fucking French will take any shot they can at America, and love to consider themselves the final deciders of what is an isn't tasteful and traditional and classic. What a French bra-maker thinks is about as notable was what your dim cousin in Lousiana with his finger in his nose and a Pabst in his claw thinks.

Yes, but at $600 per bra, implants are probably a cheaper alternative.

Kill Bill
Great flick. Didn't love it, but was entertained the entire time.
Granted, it's not big on plot or dialogue, the action sequences are amazing. It is just a little bit violent. But unlike Once Upon a Time in Mexico, the violence seems to fit. It's unecessarily violent, but what Tarantino movie isn't?
And usually when you have a woman beating the hell out of guys it looks ridiculous. Tarantino has solved this problem because every woman in this movie looks like she could beat the hell out any opponent. My favorite is schoolgirl bodyguard (Chiaki Kuriyama).
It's kind of like a cartoon for adults or, as so many people have been saying, a video game. But Tarantino brings his own brand of coolness to every scene (even if it's stolen from every movie he has ever liked).
Loved True Romance, Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. I think this one falls somewhere below Pulp Fiction, but above Reservoir Dogs (which doesn't improve with additional viewings). I don't yet own True Romance (and it's a Walken movie, so what the hell am I thinking?), but I know I will buy Kill Bill.

Yes, Britney should be about over, but alas she is not. I'll admit that Madonna impressed me with her ability to keep reinventing a reason for us to care about her and what she was doing, despite lesser natural talent than other female singers. I thought it was kind of cool in a self-made woman sort of way. However watching Britney latch on to Madonna's coattails to try to do the same thing just seems pathetic to me. Along with her baby voice and her protestations of virginity while grabbing her crotch and baring all (basically). So to Britney I say, go away and come back when you are really a woman and you have something to offer to the world that has not already been done to death. I guess this probably means stay away. Sorry chef.
|
Why begrudge a chick for cashing in? Britney's got a limited window to make as much dough as possible. You'd do exactly the same thing she's doing if you were in her sposition.
I find it utterly ridiculous when laymen take stars to task for whoring it up for money. Its fucking show business. You go for the cash and you go big and you grab what you can and try to maintain longevity. Whether Britney is a "real woman" or not is like asking about the sugar in a slurpy is real or processed. Who the fuck cares? Its goddamn pop music bubble gum crap, and she's riding it to a nine figure fortune. You think she's going to chuck $30 mil to the wind because concerns of good taste or being her own "real woman" are nagging at her? If I had tits and ass like hers and could shake my money maker like she can, I'd try every trick in the book and ride the gravy train until I was sure it was dead. And so would 99.9999% of America.
Madonna is the gold standard. Why not follow her lead?

Au contraire. The French know invariably a lot more than Americans about (1) tailoring and (2) actual female racks.
And even tiny implants typically get that bubble look. It's usually quite easy to tell (by that, and when someone takes off for a week with the "flu" and comes back looking healthy and much enhanced). I think the implant makers are changing shapes though in response to this problem.

That makes no sense. I see them for free but would pay too. Why not? After all I have a burning love for the aesthetic beauty of that physical type. Also I love the intellectual exercise of deciphering the meaning of the interpretive dancing.

FWIW, fyi, for the record, apropos of little of that, ironically, I love dried apricots.
Carry on.

exactly. of course she's going to be fucked up a little, but that was decided when she first went on stage at 10? 12? whatever, she's going to be fucked up a little and rich. and her time is almost done, so to try and supernova flame out with some naked pix to sell the next album or poster is the only sensible thing to do. it's normal given how abnormal her life is.
teen star's careers don't have legs- she can't be Madonna-
she can only be David Cassidy
