[really cutting sarcasm]Imagine that, the objectification of movie stars, right here on the FB. It is an outrage, I do declare. It would never happen with male movie stars.[/really cutting sarcasm]
[penske]FYI and FWIW, I have never been much of a steak fan, STS, BOC, preferring instead and in the alternative the other red meat, a/k/a cheese, which was the meat of choice during my youth on the commune in Glover, Vermont, which, by the by, is a fair bit outable so hush hush and keep it on the down low and all that, IYW. Anyhoo, as a non-steaker, STS, perhaps you would be so kind as to enlighten with respect to the relative qualities of the above-mentioned cuts of the not-other-red-meat, so as to improve upon my movie-slection and viewing in the future.[/penske]

Were I your copy editor (hey, one can dream!) I would have changed your "and whatnot" to "and shit".
But, that's just me.

Aww, that's sweet Just like any good jewish, pink triangle sporting mama, I'm hanging around. Just don't have much to say. (Rare, I know.)
As far as the poll, I like Wolverine. On the other side, my favorite bad guy is Mystique.

Anyway, you can't "half-volley a ball in the air" in the context or receiving a long pass. Half-volleying a ball means that is has bounced once since it has been hit by the other player.
|
You're partially correct. I was speaking of a full volley. So I was wrong there. But a half-volley is kicking it immediately after it bounces, not just a ball that has bounced, e.g., what many goalies do in lieu of punting.
Just like in tennis, but w/out goalies and punting.

We're saying the same thing in different ways.
Are you playing that big tournament in Oak Park this weekend? The hot weather forecasted is making me consider breaking out my commando-requiring netted shiny Nike shorts, but I am a little bit wary of all the stick and berries bouncing that will inevitablt occur.

I'm not quite sure why it's a +/- kind of thing now. It wasn't originally as far as I can tell, otherwise you woulda been negative from the get-go.

Alas, true for almost all of us. You on the other hand hit a steady balance that is consistant on almost all of your posts. Congrats.
